You don’t need to give police certificates for any period of time before you were 18 years old or for time spent in Canada.Hi @Miss bee, I have a quick question. But first context: I have lived in Canada for 7 years since I was 17 years old and have never traveled outside of Canada since arrival. Do I still need to supply a Police Clearance Certificate from my home country even though since 18 years old onwards I only ever lived in Canada. Or would a Letter of Explanation stating this fact be sufficient where the PCC needs to be uploaded for the application in portal.
Thank you for your reply in advance!
After you apply, an officer may ask for additional police certificates from any time in your life since you were 18 years old.
