Hi @Miss bee . I received P1 on June 10th (replied on June 13th) and received a second P1 on July 22nd (replied the same day) but haven't received P2 yet. What should I expect to happen? AR: August 1, 2024. Thank you

Hello @Miss bee it been about 64 days now I got ECOPR but I still haven’t received my card or any update concerning the card despite processing time being 41 days. Both on the portal and GCKEY no update at all. Status still is submitted, called and sent webform multiple times all resolved nothing. Please what could be the reason for this delay? Will really love your input on this. Thanks

my copr deta

Checked my application tracker today and it got updated with COPR details with an expiry in July 2026. This is good progress, right? Still haven't received any updates on my GCKey though.. No emails too..
yes it is very good soon you will get ppr are you inside or outside applicant when was your medical and when the background check was started

to those who already received their P1 and P2 emails, did you provide the same email you used when submitting the PR application? was just wondering cause i read somewhere that the visa office will be the one to create the PR portal account for PR confirmation. but if i already created an account using the same email (to submit the PR application in the first place) will that cause some delay on creating the account and receiving P2?

I used the same email. PR confirmation was sent to me on the same account where I started my PR application.

Since you’ve already done a medical for your PGWP, IRCC may simply reuse yours from their system (provided it’s still valid). For your common-law partner, it’s generally better to wait until IRCC sends the medical request (IME) with the appropriate form and UCI number — that way you’re sure everything is linked correctly to your file. But you can do upfront medical exam also and update them .

For your change of address, since you don’t have an AOR yet, you won’t be able to link the application to your IRCC online account or use the change-of-address portal.
Until then, the Webform is the correct route — just choose the option “I want to report a change in my address” and include your application details (full name, DOB, date and type of application, UCI if you have one, etc.).
Once you receive your AOR, you’ll be able to link the application to your IRCC account and update any future changes there more easily.
Thank you for your help Miss Bee!

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding imm5669 - Section E - Membership and Associations with Organizations. Should one mention their volunteer activities in Canada in this sections or should we skip it for simplicity? Thank you for your expertise and time.

@Miss bee, my friend need your help, asking on her behave and I am quoting her

I am a doctor and nominated under a Manitoba community driven stream in 2025, this path way does not require having a job offer.

Prior to this time, I applied for study permit visa (diploma course) through an agent I can't locate again and was denied, in this application I didn't declare that I am a medical doctor maybe because of career progression, although the agent later asked of some documents related to employment which I don't know if he submitted it.

In January 2025 I applied for a visitor's visa which was denied in May 2025, in this application, I declared that I am a medical doctor supported with employment documents.

Now the situation right now is that, I got nominated in Manitoba already, even though the stream is not job related, I submitted employment documents as a Nurse aid and nothing as a documents in the provincial application, now I submitted my PR application and based on the documents I submitted at provincial nomination I didn't declare that I am a doctor in my PR application in IMM5669(Schedule A).

I am still waiting for AOR and i don't want to get PFL from ircc, please how can you help with this situation to avoid misrepresentation?

understand the seriousness of your situation — misrepresentation under IRCC rules can lead to a five-year ban from reapplying, even if it’s unintentional.

Let’s break this down and figure out the safest corrective approach before IRCC issues a Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL).

Key facts from your case
  1. Study Permit (denied, past) — You did not declare being a medical doctor; may or may not have been disclosed by your agent.
  2. Visitor Visa (denied, 2025) — You did declare being a medical doctor, with supporting documents.
  3. Manitoba PNP nomination (2025) — You applied under a community-driven stream (no job offer required) and declared Nurse aide employment, not being a doctor.
  4. PR Application (IMM5669) — You did not declare being a doctor in the “personal history” or “occupation” fields.
  5. Current stage — Waiting for Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) from

Where the risk is
The risk is inconsistent occupational history across applications:
  • IRCC has full access to all your past immigration files (study, visitor, PNP, PR) and can see the discrepancies.
  • Omission of being a medical doctor could be seen as material misrepresentation if they believe you hid it to gain an advantage.
  • Even if your nomination didn’t require you to be a doctor, any false or incomplete answer on Schedule A (IMM5669) can be grounds for refusal
Why this matters before AORRight now, you still have a chance to correct the record proactively.

Once AOR is issued, your file will enter deeper review, and an officer may catch the inconsistency and send a PFL
Possible corrective action
IRCC actually encourages applicants to update their information voluntarily if they notice an error after submission.

Here’s what you should do:

  1. Prepare a Letter of Explanation (LoE) / Voluntary Disclosure
    • Clearly state that upon reviewing your application, you realized you did not include your full occupational history.
    • Explain that in addition to your work as a Nurse aide, you are also a qualified medical doctor.
    • State that the omission was unintentional and not meant to mislead — possibly due to how you interpreted the relevant section (or aligning with provincial forms).
    • Mention that your nomination was not based on your medical profession, so there was no intention to conceal qualifications for advantage.

  2. Update Schedule A (IMM5669)
    • Complete a new form showing all occupations for the last 10 years (doctor + nurse aide + any others).
    • Use exact dates where possible.
    • Ensure the personal history and address history match across all applications.

  3. Send via Webform before AOR
    • Go to the IRCC Webform for your application stream.
    • Attach the new IMM5669 form and your LoE.
    • Mark it as “Correction to previously submitted application.”
Why this is the safest route

By self-reporting before IRCC contacts you, you show good faith, which makes them far less likely to treat it as intentional misrepresentation.
  • IRCC often accepts voluntary updates without penalty if they are sent early.
  • If you wait for a PFL, the burden shifts to proving you didn’t intend to mislead — which is harder.

Extra precautions
  • Double-check all forms for exact job titles and dates so everything matches across programs (PNP, PR, old visa apps).
  • Keep copies of your LoE and updated forms in case you need to reference them later.
  • From now on, always list your complete occupational history, even if the job seems unrelated.
