Can I show fixed deposit in a joint account with my father as proof of fund? If I am the main/chief account holder of that. Can any one help me with experience and advice please. ? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you open your own account and transfer funds in it. Then you can request the bank for certificate. I have done the same.

Good Luck!

Hey,

Yes you can enter your house job experience in work experience. This is what Lalani Consultants told one of my junior friend who is applying just on the basis of House job experience along with a 10 months RMO-ship. Secondly, I think you have an option of "add dependent" in Generic Application form, probably you can fill in the details of your kid in that form and then you wont be needing an additional dependent form. Seniors please assist me!

Good Luck!

Work experience should cover the followings:

1. Continuous full-time (or the equivalent in continuous part-time) paid work experience in the primary occupation you specify in your application;
2. You must have had this experience within the last 10 years; and
3. Your work experience must be in an occupation listed in Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations), Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Dependants:

You can add up to five (5) dependants in the "Generic Application Form for Canada". If you have more than five (5) family members, you must complete the Additional Dependants/Declaration form for each additional family member in order to include everyone in your application.

In your case "Generic Application Form for Canada" is enough to enter the dependants' information for the 3 people.

Best of luck :) :) :)

There is no House Job NOC code.

If applying as a General / Family Physician then the code is 3112 and if as a Specialist Physician then its 3111.

Best of luck

Bro its pretty late to apply now. Still apply for the ECA so you can have it ready for future opportunities if it is back in time for FSWP. What you can do is that two weeks after your SVR is sent by MCC to ECFMG and then to your college, get in touch with your college and have them complete the process ASAP. Then take the sealed envelope and courier it to ECFMG, be careful that the courier should be from your college's name. Also there is an option of getting an EPIC account at the ECFMG website but it also costs $$$. I still encourage you to apply for ECA regardless of being late or early.

Goodluck

Thank you so much Doc Hasan for encouraging me.. Actually I have already got my medical credentials attested from the registrar of my college in a sealed envelope. Can I courier the same once my SVR is sent from ECFMG to my college OR ECFMG would be requiring some more info from my college?

Dear friend, first of all best of Luck for your application.

1)Where do I assess my ultrasound diploma?
No need to assess ultrasound diploma. All you need is MBBS Degree credential assessment.

2)How many points is for MBBS degree if I apply under 3216?
23 points

3)Do they count experience before ultrasound diploma? I got 7 yrs ultrasound work experience but I have done my diploma 1 years ago. So can I claim total 7 years?
Yes, for sure. No where it is mentioned that you must have degree of experience. I am not a diploma holder, only MBBS, with ultrasound experience.

4)Which degree do I need to send to MCC?
MBBS.. Go with WES. MCC takes lot of time. I got my MBBS credential assessment from WES. If you read the credential assessment details, MBBS degree assessment is to be done by MCC only if you are applying under NOC 3211/3212 which is General practitioners. I applied through WES. When I Sent them for credential assessment, I received message from WES, that your degree (MBBS) has to be done by MCC. I FAXED them with my reply that I am applying under NOC 3216, not NOC 3211. I also sent them print out of description that MCC credential assessment requires in case you are applying under NOC 3211.

Sincere advise from my part, don't go for MCC. It is time consuming, usually taking 3-4 months or sometimes more, Send your request for credential assessment to WES. Write covering letter along with your degree and required certificates & inform them that you are applying under NOC 3216.
{•as a specialist physician (NOC 3111) or general practitioner/family physician (NOC 3112), the Medical Council of Canada must do an educational credential assessment only for your primary medical diploma}

Good Luck.

Regards

Thank you very much mabmabs for your nice clarification. I was looking for just this thing for a long time; and at last I got it from you. Your post helped me a lot.

I have MBBS done on 2002 and practiced sonography for 7 years. I have only a 3 months' certificate course on sonography which is not a valid one I guess.

Now I am going to apply under noc 3216 with MBBS certificate only. Wish me luck...

ECFMG will also send a form or something to be filled by your college. So wait for the documents from their side to arrive at your college and then get those processed ASAP and get them dispatched back to ECFMG by courier. Don't send documents on your own.
