NOC 3112 for FSWP in 2014, Let's network here

Need help guys. I am applying for 3111 as a specialist physician. Do I also need to get ECA for my specialist degree? MCC doesnt give ECA for any other qualification except primary medical degree. Has anyone gotten ECA for their specialist degree or diploma? Please advise. Thanks

Any idea that the recent cap update with the overall accepted applications reaching above 4000, applications sent up to which dates do these cap numbers represent?

I heard from someone that applications sent in May are still under process. If that is correct, what is the chance that if applications sent in October would be safe. Because if applications from May have made the cap reach up to 5000, then it is very alarming and the caps may be filled by the applications sent up to September.

Application number updates are in accordance with the dates they are issued on. Reaching cap limit depends completely on which NOC category you are applying for. Some fill early, some fill late.

This count is actually the number of application received, not the files which have been reviewed and accepted for visa. Correct me if I am wrong.

If you go through the number of applicants according to the SS, you will find there is decreasing trend of applicants per month (i.e. May=1134, June=512, July=348, August=286, September=203 so far). And, the total number of CAP as shown to the CIC website is the number of PER issues. As you said, up to 28th May, the total CAP filled 4003. However, please keep in mind that it doesn't reflect the total applications received by 28th May as so many applicants are still to get charged as well as receive PER.

Here is my personal prediction regarding the overall CAP:
(roughly calculated on the basis of SS)

May = 4200
June = 1900
July = 1300
August = 1050
September = 900
_______________________________
Total : 9350 (by September)

If it goes worse, still not more than 10000.

Another thing is that the individual NOCs are extremely variable to fill. Some NOCs will not fill even 200 whereas some hot NOCs could have filled by June. Therefore, it doesn't matter what is the number of overall CAP filled.

You no need ECA for speciality degree.ECA only for medical degree that gives you 23 points. To be counted in NOC3111 your speciality experience certificate would be enough. Although you have to submit copy of all your graduation certificate, like SSC, HSC, MBBS, MD/MS/FCPS etc.

Also my expected date of Ielts result is about 6 dec 2014... can i apply ... ??

and i have to submit this.....1) Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] 2) Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] 3) Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] ........ and all 11 forms at once or step by step...

And do i need a laywer who signature are req on my application... someone told me you need an laywer who will charge around $1200 for it ???

So it means before submitting this GENERIC APPLICATION FORM FOR CANADA.... we have to undergo assessment process.... OR both should be started at a parallel ??
And also i thought that we have to get assessment done by WES i.e https://www.wes.org/ca/index.asp

I have done Bcom... and my friend has done BScit and MSC it ??? Both can be assesed by WES????

How much time will be taken.. and fees ??? is their option for a speedy process ??

apart from medical degree assessment WES is competent to go through with assessment. WES is a designated body. u should check the documents requirements for the assessment process as it varies from country to country. you should assess your final/latest degree but you have to send all the documents of your basic/previous degree documents. WES is pretty fast.
