There is no hard and fast rule about verification. it is done randomly and I think for very few cases from what I could glean from this forum. I feel u should not stress ur self unduly as chances are they may never make any enquiry in ur case. With prayers all will be well.

dear Naija

i am about to submit my full document to ACCRA but i have a big challenge. i am claiming 4 points under Adaptability. my wife has a 4years Bachelors degree and 15years of equivalent studies but the challenge is that up till now i am still processing her Degree certificate. the excuse being that the vice chancellor is not in the office to sign the certificae.

i have obtained her transcript in university sealed envelope(LASU) and her original statement of result is also available with me. what can i do, do i ask the registrar to write a letter on the letterhead of the university or can the transcript with statement of result on school letterhead be acceptable.

i need urgent advice.

Please get a letter in lieu of certificate if you can. I secured same for my wife as her certificate is equally not ready. I do not think you should be bothered about this though in the event that you are not able to get the official letter in lieu. I think what you have (statement of result and original transcript) is enough to confirm she is a graduate but I will only suggest you include a little note to explain the missing notarized copy of her certificate. Seniors may have a different opinion though.

thanks Goldenapple, i appreciate

My sister, not so at all; I couldn't, even if I try, this site helped me so much and I feel obligated to visit every now and then. The processing is different now, so my knowledge/information is outdated. I can only share ideas on the landing and settling side...

True, time is becoming something else these days but we thank God for having something to do..I just moved into a house, the closing and moving are big time stories on their own...settling in and learning about the house is another. Naija houses na block, here na wood, person get to sabi use am to enjoy am safely. I am learning to also do things on my own, labour is expensive here..service call charges of a licensed plumber could be as high as $150 unlike Naija where we have all the artisans at our beck and call.

Will be visiting to read, learn and share...It is well..
