I dont think it will be an issue if that is what is on the application form....remember we asked to write our names as it appears on our passports.

The application form requested for your wife's name as stated on her passport, if you did not write that on the form then i guess you could have a challenge

Even the quarterly update with the processing time is yet to be done since 23rd of April. With that we can not even authentically estimate the processing time for MI2, MI3 etc. I will join the voices that are calling for another round of fasting and prayers. Well, your lawyer must know beta. But in my experience with official docs including visas, what you fill into any document is your name as it's on your means of identification. In this case, your passport. Please keep us posted on this.
