Wow!!! From my sick bed after 2 days I was finally able to catch up from where I left off.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! To all those that have receive one update or the other and have been favoured to move one step ahead in this loooooong waiting period. I pray such good news will not be far from each of us IJMN.

Sad to say that after over 6months, we are yet to receive even an AOR from Paris. It is so discouraging that I have since stopped my french lessons. I know I should but I honestly need a strong motivation to continue right now.

MadamIG and all the other Pa's and Ma's in the house, weldone and kudos. E ku ise! Daalu! Nagode! The love and affection is commendable. A special mention and recognition to our very special comic interlude characters, guess we need more than a little laughter to get through this.

May His grace and favour never depart from us and ours. You all have a blessed day at work.

Do not be sick becos of MR,PR,RPRF etc...youre still a pikin to be worried over small issues like PR,MR.....Stand up and continue the struggle. My son has applied for his study permit, gotten MR and done it and hope to receive the visa before the end of this month. He would leave in August. Right now i am yet to receive my MR. if the MR is sent after his departure would he have to return to do medicals or can we request the medical center to submit the medicals he did for the study permit. Would he also have return when our passport is requested ?

IMO the boy would need to come back and and redo the medical. The one he did was for study visa and not for PR. Moreso, any sickness (God forbids) might have (not) .............So He would need it Pa Awoderu.
Pa Naija Pikin, the chartered Immigration Officer, please throw more light o. Pa Awoderu is still one of our reputable Pas in the house.

Pa'Awoderu, to me that would be a unique situation. I would want to believe that he would still be required to undergo a new medical test, since his rights would change as a Permanent resident. If that becomes the case, he would be asked to undergo the new tests in Canada, and the results sent to Accra. Make you warn am make he no go play careless football for Canada o. As per the passport, he would have to send it to you for the PR visa, the study permit would become; 'cancelled without prejudice'..
