I have been pondering for some time now on how i was going to solve this case as this would really cost me quite a long of money(flight ticket) and cause a disruption in his studies. I trust say u na go help me find a way out of this situation way ACCRA put us O. this no go happen if them don give us our PR for the time way we plan say we for don get am.

Pa Naija Pikin, are you saying he can have his Medical examination in Canada while the rest of us have ours in Nigeria Certainly. All you need do is send the MR documents pertaining to him via UPS to him. He can then use of the approved DMP in Canada. The sending of the test results would automatically be handled by the DMP.. As regards the passport, Courier services do not accept transportation of Passport if it is not been sent to a Visa office or an embassy Oloye you can always get a Naija friend coming to 9ja to handle that for you. That is the least of worries you should add to your shopping bag. 8) ;D.

Congrats on your wedding anniversary, God who has kept you this long will surely keep you together in love till the end. My prayer is that your next anniversary will be in Canada and not Lagos.

I feel you should relax and stop worrying over issues that are not about to materialize at least just yet. Firstly let your son get his study visa and let him go to school. If by luck your get your MR say around November/December (If by Luck) this year your son would easily do his medicals in Canada. As for passport request dont even bother because past experience has shown that it takes between 3-6 months for passport request after medicals we even have guys in the thread who got passport request few months to expiration of medical i.e about 10-12 months so my brother relax.

All these concerns might not arise in the next 6 months and by then you would be so liquid that you wont even bother about his ticket cost. Lets keep on keeping on but for me am hopeful that i will get my MR on or before December and hopefully PR before June next year but if it comes earlier i will celebrate it.

Thanks dear for the good wishes by August the results would be out and i will sure keep you posted. All the exam stuff is becuase of possible immigration to Canada otherwise i for no bother my sister book no easy again.

My naija people, i get some questions way i need u na help to put me through.


My son has applied for his study permit, gotten MR and done it and hope to receive the visa before the end of this month. He would leave in August. Right now i am yet to receive my MR. if the MR is sent after his departure would he have to return to do medicals or can we request the medical center to submit the medicals he did for the study permit. Would he also have return when our passport is requested ?

I don't think they'll require him to do another medical test provided the one he did is still valid (its basically the same test for everybody going to Canada). For his status, he needn't come home for that nor send the passport. It can be changed there in Canada. I would still suggest you ask them in Accra - only when you receive your MR.
