Hi Skye2014,

One staff of DSWD advise me to go to city of mayors office aince it is election they could help us find him. So my wife did the advise and luckily they found him and they will meet togwther for signing of the consent and hoping and praying to God he will cooperate and sign it for the future of my wife's son.
thats good news.. I had the same experienced with your wife but my daughter's biological father didnt sign.. so i filed a sole custody and apparently cic accepted all of my court docs...mind you took us almost 1 yr to get our papers done and very costly...

Hi bushgirl,

The CEM just given us 30 days to give the requested documents thats why we are running out of time. My wife and the biological father was not married but the last name of the child was named to the guy, so what we did last 2014 is to change the last name to her mothers last name in the court. its a big mistake coz we shld did the full custody than doing the last name. It cost so much doing that changing of last name..

Seems no news at all from CIC... been a month haven't heard any good news from these forum and the processing timeline was changed to 13 months. :o I wonder what's going on?

Yeah, other then a few document requests, CEM has been silent. I can't even remember the last PPR, I think it was back in March even. Very sad, I was hoping to done this June/July but it's looking increasingly unlikely.
