Hi, I have been following this blog on a daily basis. I realised that there is a lot of bonding between people here. However, once we move on, this bonding will be lost. Imagine how nice it will be to network and stay in touch once things have worked out for us.

I have put up a social networking site specially for people who are in various stages of migration, to various countries. this file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination

In whos name (Receiver of canada or
canadian high commision) and in
which currency INR or CAD should
one make the DD to ensure the
process to be fast
which is the best possible way ?
Does any one know if the DD is
encashed in new delhi or nova
scotia ?

Make it favoring - " Canadian High Commission" and in INR.

Very big doubt. See I paid my RPRF along with my complete documents and at that time the fee was 19,900/- INR and I also have the receipt. (Check my time lines and signature for case detail).

Now as the RPRF fee has incresed to 21,440/-. I am waiting for medicals and passport request, what will they do now, again ask for revised RPRF, or balance amount or will continue as it is.

Just curious.

Now as the RPRF fee has incresed to 21,440/-. I am waiting for medicals and passport request, what will they do now, again ask for revised RPRF, or balance amount or will continue as it is.

Just curious.

22 g if ya already paid for RPRF...nothin to worry ....its done...ur rprf received thats doent matter how much it was...rules are changing day by day...no prob...jus hope for gud...rabb kare next week tuahda PPR aa jawe

I have been following this forum, after I am caught in the climax after sending the PP, medicals and Fees on Dec 11th and received the AOR Dec 17th.

Still keep waiting for updates in ecas (IN PROCESS), response TO inquiries through Fax, email (generic reply not on my case), mail and here.

The level of frustration is steadily raising.

Have few queries

(1) Do they update the status of Ecas only on Tuesdays? (Somewhere I read on other days updates are done)
(2) What if, if there is no update to Ecas in the week, will there be any registered mail or courier to shock the applicants?
(3) Final question, many people mentioned they have received thru Registered mail - the PP with shiny - How long this (Registered mail - I guess this is not Speed post) takes to reach with in India?
(4) Can any folks in the forum confirm CIC is not sending the PP thru courier?

I think embassy people are doing their work very slowly after Xmas holidays. They r busy in greeting each other after New Year celebration. Now it is Chocklate day, proposed day, kick day, Val. day etc.

I done my medical in Nov and sent Medical & PP to CHC in Nov 09 itslef.

Still waiting from their response and checking the site for further progress.

It still show: in process".

Did you submit the amount that they have asked for? I am bit curious that RPRF is paid before the medical is called. If they have asked for the RPRF to you and the amount it less than that is currently set, then its not a problem. You paid according to the amount that they requested which is CAD$490 and they must have cashed the amount then which is still CAD$490 at that time.
