I know how hard it is for people waiting patiently. But how is that humanitarian by just approving spouse sponsorship to people in Kerala. How can it be helpful. I cannot understand the logic. And if some officers at NDVO is specifically assigned to clear Kerala applicants we can wait and see when my friends and my paper works would be done.I believe it was the flooding that is causing the fast track otherwise why would just Kerala people be lucky? No other locations in India have been fast tracked. Just because some Kerala applicants have not yet gotten their PPR doesn't mean that the files aren't being worked on. If I were to speculate they have pulled a couple of agents off of the regular rotation to work on the Kerala applicants and are handing out the PPR requests once all the information has been received so they can make the decision. If I was to speculate further I believe the agent(s) that are now working on those Kerala files was the one of the ones working on my husband's and several others who received the pre arrival email on 21 August and nothing since. It was just after 21 August that the Kerala files started to receive PPR. Every other October applicant that has received the pre arrival email, except for 9, has had their status updated to decision made on the same day or next day and received PPR a day or two later.
Personally I have no issues with the fast tracking for humanitarian reasons, however that should not also mean that other people should suffer who have waited patiently for their turn.
