When you do your medicals, you'll be given a A4 size paper with proof that you have done medicals and a bar code with UMI# on the top right corner of it. That is the receipt I am referring to. You've to submit that to CIC or NDVO. You'll not get the hard copy of your medical report.

Oh ok thanks! Still wondering why the receptionist would say if we already sent in the application then we have to wait for the letter from immigrations. I booked an appointment for my husband for a medical. She didn't know I called before. So she asked if we had sent the application or not. I said no ( before booking I called Cic and confirmed with an agent that we can do the medical and send in the receipt at any time. The agent said yes that we can send it). I told the receptionist that I spoke to Cic and told her it doesn't matter if we send in the application or not. She kept saying how there would be a problem with the medical numbers. On the receipt the number given would be our medical number which Cic would record as ours. Didn't make sense what she was saying but kept asking three or four times if we sent in the application or not.

Hi,

I got SA on 26th May.
I am yet to receive AOR2.

How many days it take to receive AOR2 from NDVO?

Hi,

I have a question. I had submitted application for my spouse on 26th may, 2016.

At what stage should I plan to file the TRV (Visit Visa) for my spouse after submitting the spousal file. Should I file after I receive AOR1, SA or when the file is transferred to Delhi?

Please let me know when is the best time and why is that a best time.

Thanks,
Faraz.

There is no best time to apply for trv ...the chances of getting one before or after pr application is not that different from what i see .i would suggest u to apply for one after getting sponsor approval might slightly increase the chances

i agree, make sure to mention in TRV application that you have already applied for permanent residence , otherwise it might be counted as misrepresentation
