Oh ok thanks! Still wondering why the receptionist would say if we already sent in the application then we have to wait for the letter from immigrations. I booked an appointment for my husband for a medical. She didn't know I called before. So she asked if we had sent the application or not. I said no ( before booking I called Cic and confirmed with an agent that we can do the medical and send in the receipt at any time. The agent said yes that we can send it). I told the receptionist that I spoke to Cic and told her it doesn't matter if we send in the application or not. She kept saying how there would be a problem with the medical numbers. On the receipt the number given would be our medical number which Cic would record as ours. Didn't make sense what she was saying but kept asking three or four times if we sent in the application or not.Vikram18 said:When you do your medicals, you'll be given a A4 size paper with proof that you have done medicals and a bar code with UMI# on the top right corner of it. That is the receipt I am referring to. You've to submit that to CIC or NDVO. You'll not get the hard copy of your medical report.
