Hi Guys,

Need quick help. What should be entered in the section 9 of sponsor questionnaire.

Question: Are you a naturalized Canadian or permanent resident of canada

1) On what date you became permanent resident? - I will mention the date I landed in Canada
2) Which canadian visa office issued your immigration visa or confirmation of permanent residence? -- What should I mention here. Indian visa office or Canadian city where I landed? Please confirm asap. Thank you very much.

Canadian airport for example toronto airport

I am assuming you are a PR.
1) The date when you landed in Canada
2) Its the visa office which you issued the visa. So if it was India, the answer will be New Delhi. It'll be written on your immigrant visa (stamped on your passport) as well as on your COPR (Issued At).

Thanks Vikram for a quick reply. So, yes I got the visa from New Delhi visa office and I landed in Toronto. So the question is in this case, should I mention New Delhi or Toronto?

Hey Guys,

Finally I have some update.
I called CIC again today.

This time I got an agent Stephen. He was very very helpful.
He accessed my file and said I got SA yesterday.

I will receive communication by CIC.

So all April first week applicants should dial.
