My wife got a cal for interview. On 8 December. Med and police clearance expired... Please recommend if we need to do police clearance now and is it better to do meds now as it wil sav time

Do it at the earliest it will save time

Good Luck for the interview

Congratulations to all who got DM and PPR in the last couple days!

Praying that the NDVO looks at my file too :( It's becoming harder everyday to just sit with patience :(

Guys i am getting little bit nervous now.
From last 35 applicants who got Passport request till today, either those applicants got PPR right away from In process OR they got PPR in less than 10 days from Decision Made. Those 10 days is including holidays.

Today its been 10 days for me after DM and i still have not received any Passport Request. First i had to wait for almost 2 months to get Decision Made from In process, and Now this additional wait.

Do not know what they r doing with my file. If everything is done, why not just send the PPR. >:(

Hi All,

I read 2-3 posts from applicants asking if travel history will lengthen up the processing time..

It does impact but doesn't delay application for 2-3 months, in case you have travel history of Canada/US/New Zealand/Australia, it is very quick to verify the information as these countries share data with each other.

Even for European countries too it does not take to long.

So don't worry.

God Bless

Oh man, I can understand your frustration. I would be pissed too. But I believe PPR can take up to 2 weeks after DM, so just hang in there. If you don't get anything after 14 days, then call your MP and make some noise. ;)

Look at the bright side...at least you're at the Decision Made stage! We're still sitting here, stuck in limbo...our file has now been IP for 3 months!

Re-meds sent to us back in September, never received. Sent NDVO an urgent e-mail, no response yet. Asked my MP's office to enquire...the staff member was apologetic, but said they are still getting set up in Ottawa. But he assured me that he would get back to me as soon as possible. :(

Hi Sunny6359, don't worry my friend, you will get the passport request soon. Stay Happy and Positive... Enjoy Diwali with your near and dears :)

God Bless

Man lately they been giving PPR right away.. its just so frustrating not to get PPR after DM..
Looking at your timeline, you are also supposed to be on next stage now..
but good thing is that they have been very active and finishing files.. SO hopefully we both get some kind of update soon.

hi pgu
It says Medical - in process, Eligibility - recommend passed, criminality and security - not started. and in the comments the VO said Interview Required, nothing adverse and then a short description of our love story.
that's what in my notes in brief.

one of the due date for one criteria is nov 24,2015. so i'm planning to apply for second set of notes after that date.

Any recommendations?

Hi, yes apply notes after 10-15 days of Nov 24, 2015. Hopefully you will get interview letter anytime after Nov 24. Stay calm and keep patience.

God Bless

Hubby arriving on Nov 15th. Please update the spreadsheet. Finally we are done!

If anyone else is looking for tickets, Japan airline has one way ticket on sale for $560. It is really cheap as compare to other airlines

Thanks

If they have mentioned interview required for whatsoever reason, there is no way they will cancel. You will need to wait for interview letter.
Don't get dishearten with the wait. Keep yourself busy. I know its hard, have been though it but there is nothing in our hands that we can do.
