Vicky,

I am guessing its your wife who is applicant and you are sponsor.
If this is the case, Check your wife ECAS. if you see any line about file being getting processed, then probably your file is in process.

I would say do not look your side ECAS.

There are two option Decision Made and Application Recieved.

When i clicked on Decision Made option.

today i saw a new line appeared.

We started processing your application on December 9,2014.

and man 9 months to see a new line olly molly....

Under this option previously i have two generic lines showing for eternity.

Today i saw a new line there as previoiusly i have stated.

We have started processing your application on December 9,2014.

Hi,

Sponsorship has two steps. Step one is the evaluation of the sponsor(s). Once evaluation has been completed they send SA (sponsorship approval). The second link would be step two which would be the evaluation of the applicant.

I am utterly confused. So under the Sponsor applicant station (decision made) you are seeing another line? What does it say under Permanent Residence Application Status?

Medical results have been received.

This is what i saw under Permanent Residence Application Status.

Funny I checked the decision made on my side as a sponsor - it now says started processing the application on the AOR2 date and IP on the applicant side.

I see what the confusion is. Vicky the applicant side will also get updated to IP and the same line added

This is probably a rookie question but what do i need to check wife Ecas?

Try logging in to ECAS using ur wife UCI number and see whats the updates are.
If even then you see that file is getting processed, probably then it is.

You just need her UCI and name, birth etc.

ohh.. i dont even use my ECAS.. lol i memorized my wife UCI number, but i dont know mine.
i always use her side to check status. ;D

I always use her's as well I just noticed under my sponsor it says started processing file and under the applicant its missing that line so I presume they just added it in the wrong place. Under her UCI its all the four lines

Gavie and Magicman file went to in process after receiving the interview letter, however my status is still Ar/MR. I am getting really tensed, is there any thing to worry about?

Also for interview, do I need to be personally present at the time of interview?If I am not there will it have any negative impact?

Getting very nervous, don't know what should I do.

You can order notes anyways. It will help you find where you application stands currently.
we still have 6-7 applicants from October who are in Application received stage.
if you dont hear anything in next couple weeks, then surely apply for notes.

And there are some like me waiting for interview letter and getting in process god knows what Ndvo is upto and what exactly is their working style
