Hi guys,

Question for the people who applied for TRV in person at VAC:

Can I pay the complete fees i.e. Application fees + VAC fees at the VAC by cash? Or do I have to pay the application fees online and the VAC fees in cash at the time of submission of the documents?

Thanks.

You have to pay complete fees at the VAC (VFS) by CASH.

Hey Pransi, according to the current trend none has got ppr request after remedical,we all are in the queue..Don't know when we will get any news from cic ..When did you apply ,can you tell your timeline,it's not in the profile .

Before, when everyone was going from IP to DM in 1-2 week's time it was probably because their medicals were valid for another 2-3 months and NDVO were extending it for another 3 months. Lately, with the slowness in the process, by the time applicants are getting IP, their medical is pretty much expired and are receiving re medical letters.

for my wife's application, I ordered notes a week after going into IP and for her, everything is passed except medical which says in Progress and further down in notes, it mentions the remedical letter sent and also has a note staying that "received in eMed". I am assuming that remedical once received from NDVO takes anywhere from 2-3 months to get processed and we should start seeing DM next month for everything who got IP after the NDVO was done with nepali applicants.

common NDVO send some interview letters you opted to see us so show some interest :'( :'( :'( :'(

did anyone get any interview letter lately ???

Need input from senior members:

We did not get AOR2 from NDVO. I have checked the SPAM folder too. No regular post either.

Got SA on June 25, 2015. How can I pay RPRF and send the receipt without getting AOR2?

Is there anyway I can check ECAS without AOR2? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks!

hi every one,
I have been following this forum for some time now and finally decided to join because I can't figure things out on my own and I need help. so basically I am a Canadian citizen and I have applied for my husbands visa in July 2014. the status of my husbands application online is "application received on September 11 2014" and "medical received" it has not changed ever since. and now my husbands medical has also expired on July 5th 2015. I lived with my husband for 5 months in India and I sent pic and information to prove that this marriage is valid. but its been ten months now of total process time.is there some thing I should do or should I just wait the 16 months?

thank you so much

1. Do MP enquiry.
2. Apply for notes under Access to Information Act (How to order GCMS Notes: https://goo.gl/DTQjHC).

Hello TS18,

Even i am a july applicant with application received and medicals received status from sep 19th 2014. Apply for GCMS notes, you can know if any documents are required or interview required status....You no need to wait for 16 months if there is interview waiver in your notes. It takes 1 month to get your notes from the date you applied and most of your doubts on your application will be clarified....

Hope for the best.

Hello shanidbest,

This is correct passport with visa is valid until medical expiry date. My husband recently got his passport back and since we did re-medicals his visa is valid up until Jan 29/16.

Regards,
Aman

Thanks a lot Aman.

Other question would be that If my file were to go in process in Oct. 2015 (Looking at current files being processed) and may be get DM in November 2015.
And as medical will be expiring on Nov. 10 will NDVO send remed request or just extend it for 1 or 2 months?

Anyone who got remed extended for Visa and got 1,2 or 3 months of extension, would you share your info please.... How many months of extension usually they give?

Or they just send remed request and don't extend?

Also if remed was to be done without request from NDVO and they take 2-3 months to update it, then would it be better to do remed right now? So they will have it updated by the time they start processing the file. Would it effect badly?

Please answer to your best knowledge and share all info you have. Specially people who already went through the process.
Thanks a lot
