Hey! Really! I hope so, yes we can check online thru the VFS tracking, my wife applied in person in India at the vfs office. I emailed her all the signed scanned documents.

Yes I am a April/14 applicant, got in process in Sept, then was asked to resubmit a PCC in Dec/Jan of this year, because she got one from the Indian Consulate for the country she lived in, but she needed one from the country itself not from the consulate. Then our medicals expired so she had to do that again in March end, since then no news for us... so we decided to apply for visitor visa.

Hopefully we will know by Friday when she gets her passport back!

Did they tell that your vistor visa is approved or did they mention any other coments.. Can you tell us. How many days did it take for your trv to be processed

Hi I have one quick question could anyone please answer (its urgent).

I got re-medicals and I have an IME# mentioned in the email.
Do we need to do re-medicals against this IME#? Today I went to the Hospital the Doctor has done these medicals against a new UMI number.
(I did the re-medicals in Canada).

U have to show this email to the doctor and they would do the remedical against that IME# only....and then it gets updated automatically...
But, in case you have a new IME#, you would have to write a letter to them and it takes a while before they manually combine the reports....
So, best is do ur medicals against the IME# in the email....

My wife got her passport back today with the visitor visa for 8 years!! So it only took only 5 business days for her!

Never did the notes thing since ip just mp inquiries. You should apply for visitor visa and wait it out for ppr in Canada!

Thanks for the reply. I have shown him the email but he did not do the medicals against the IME mentioned in e-mail. I realized and checked this after coming to home. Here the doctor is not responding properly to us after a lot of request he did medicals yesterday (In Canada we get appointment after 15 days).
Do I need to write a letter for NDVO?
And one more question the CIC has sent the re-assessment form along with the email but he is refusing to fill that form as he doesn't know about my previous medical conditions.

Please help.

Processing time (16 months) is calculated from the time the file reaches the visa office (Delhi). This is what I have been told by my MP.

I got an email that file is transferred to New Delhi on Nov 14th 2014 but when I check the status , it says application received on Sep 2014.
I am the applicant. Does it mean I should count months from Nov or Sep?

I am a September 2014 applicant , there is lot of confusion about re-medical . Should one get it done before the request or not? I got my medicals done from USA in June 2014 and it is expiring soon but have not yet received re-medical request. I am planning to move to Canada in July on visitor visa . Is it possible to get re-medical from Canada once I get the request or should i just go ahead and do it from USA and then move to Canada? Any suggestions?

Hi rs3710 did ur spouse file the application initially in September 2014? Afterwards it got transferred to Delhi in Nov 2014. In ecas it will always show when application was initially filed so in your case September. However processing time begins from November when it reaches Delhi. Hope that helps

Thanks again ! I had applied for notes on April 29th so tomorrow I will complete 30 days waiting for it. As per the website it says they will respond back within 30 days. Generally how many days it takes to get the notes?

Got my Notes today and they haven't even touched the file except updating the line that they have received the updated medical email and a courier for communication proof.

Could you tell us how long how they took to update the file after receiving the the email/courier from you?
