Hi buggleboy

Did your wife got her passport back? Do you have any idea on the passport return times..we've got passport request on may 4rth for TRV and I've send that on the same day passport reached on 6th,till now there is no update.

My wife applied from Bangalore. It was processed in a week's time. She submitted passport upfront and has collected it along with the visa. Depends where/which visa office you have applied. Just check the processing times present on their site for that office in the TRV category.

We applied it in New Delhi office and they said that the processing time is 6 days and you know what it was almost a month we applied on April 15

As soon as it reaches 100 signature I will approach Minister's office.

Spiker,

Would it be possible to mention in one of the points (or some where) that these extreme delays in processing mainly started after the Conservatives have been elected. Feel free to rephrase it. With election coming up may be this my help get some momentum.

Just a thought. btw....have you already shared this on the whatapp group? If not I will do that and may be we can get 100 ppl by the end of this week.

Signed the new petition in the morning (IST )

If you blame govt its unlikely the minister would take any action.
First lets see if conservation govt takes any action. If they don't we can always approach other parties without getting negative.

Oh.. I agree that's quite a long time. They should have stated their decision by this time. Too slow. Just hang in there. That's all we can do when we are at their mercy. Good Luck!
