Thanks Deep Son and Buggleboy, now I wish I had applied for my wife's TRV through VFS. I applied online and after 2 weeks still there is no update, I thought it would be faster online as otherwise I would have had to mail in invitation letter etc. to India

You should have scanned all the required documents and emailed your wife so that she could have submitted it in person. That's what I did - scanned and submitted all relevant documents along with a letter requesting them to give the application their "kindest consideration". I did not opt for online as I still feel Canada is way too behind in IT when compared to US and India.

innosense,
When I created a new petition I was not aware of old one. I didnt have my SA by then.
In this petition I have try to put all the pain points face by all application so that we can get pointed response for them from Immigration Minister.
When approaching immigration minster we will approach with all three petitions. Having at least one latest petition would be helpful I guess.

Hi Spiker,

I have also signed the petition with the hope that this petition will not be lost like the previous ones and will be presented to immigration minister

Thanks

My wife finally gave me the good news that she has been granted a TRV. She will be here soon for 6 months and then go back for her PPR. When that would happen GOK; that's the only good news that I can share with all of you. Try for a TRV if there is a long delay (don't know when these buggars will process our PR files); if everything is in order they seem to be granting a TRV; that's the least they can do.

This evening I will sign the petition as well so that our voices are heard.

Congratulations Mr.Buggleboy and Deep Son! We are so happy for you guys and enjoy the canadian summer with your wife.
We are planing to apply for TRV in the first week of June. Thanks Mrs.Buggleboy for detailed information regarding your TRV application. Please keep updating us as your case is quite similar to mine. I am just couple of months behind you. I hope for the best for every single person who is dealing with NDVO.

Thanks and stay active,
Gggkkk

Done. I signed it too. Let's hope this f$%^i$g minister opens his eyes and does something rather than just warming up his chair.

There is a way to submit feedback to CIC

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx?_ga=1.238788480.1655456513.1427736156

We can leave a compliment, comment or a complaint. I just left a comment and chose the subject as processing time :-)
We have to provide our UCI.

CIC's site feedback may not really help us in any way. Unless the minister intervenes directly and asks questions to the officers there, NDVO will be NDVO with no improvements at all.
