Thanks Notorious! Don't know which way to go.....not even sure at this point should I look for TRV possibilities or just keep hanging to wait for interview. So stuck :(

It is getting so bad that I started reading appealed cases forum...I am way too scared. Nothing is helping :'( :'( :'(

NDVO show some mercy.....
Stay positive, and don't even think about appealing. Some cases takes a l'll longer but hopefully you get a good news soon. :)

What is your Passport status ?

Direct askign for passport submission

Finally, after Months i got my UCI no...but mail also asking for Passport submission.

To be clear, today I got first mail containing my UCI no. I submitted file on 4th sep 2014.I got mail from ID DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. and straightway asking for Passport Submission. Isn't that unusual??? what should I do??? I haven't been asked for docs or medical or Police clearance.

My file is with Delhi.

Can you please guide??

Thanks

i recommend you use the UCI number to track your application online and see the details of steps. it is most likely you might have missed emails from them from before or if you have a representative signed up, all the correspondence has been going to them.

Another Day Gone...... :(

Just wondering if you guys can share how you arranged your packages before sending it to the CPC M'sauga office. There are a couple of really helpful and detailed threads on the forum but the NVDO checklist is slightly different in how they list the required documents.

Any help/guidance will be much appreciated :)

Exactly.. another day gone. Working with NDVO is very depressing. Today I called the immigration office call center to update the address that is being displayed when I login. It's showing an old Calgary address still despite me updating it to a new one 3 weeks ago. When I voiced my concern to the call center agent, he told me "it does not matter what you see sir. What matters is what is there in the system and I see your new address". When asked why it's not updated, he had no clue about it.

I also asked why NDVO is taking such a long time and his answer was standard - "Every visa office has it's own rules and that's something that you need to check with NDVO". When I questioned him "do you think they even bother responding", his answer was "you or your wife need to get hold of someone in the visa office by visiting the office in Delhi or call them up or email them. At times they respond and at times they don't". He got agitated when I started asking him tough questions, so much so I hung up at him. Such is the service of CIC call center. Very poor and pathetic. UK, Australia and NZ's processing time for spousal visa is so much more efficient and quicker.

What is the status in ur ecas ? Along with your passport request, it must be mentioned somewhere in ur email to submit police certificates, pay fees if not already done. But I am wondering how you got PPR if you have not given PCC and done ur medicals ?!
And you say you are September applicant ..strange ..

You are better off sending all ur pending docs along with ur passport now.

Follow all the general tips and suggestions given in other threads. Maintain 3 files or sections in ur application package
1. Sponsorship file
2. Immigration file
3. Relationship file

Arrange docs as per checklist. Write detailed answers in separate sheet. Include cover letters and provide an index for ur relationship file. Sign and date every additional answer sheet. Scan and keep backup of all ur forms and proof. so you know what info u filled , the answers u wrote and what forms u submitted.
Do not staple anything.

At least you have received remedicals;my wife has not even received that. The process is killing and is just a useless piece of s#@%, so to speak.
