Guyz I got Decision Made on ECAS on 19th March 2015. I have a lawyer/ immigration consultant, who is representing my case. He/ I have not received PPR request till now.
Looking at the other cases I believe I should have got PPR by now.

Please suggest what action I can take in this case. Should I wait or there is a way to get in touch with NDVO. My worry is medical is expiring on 20th April 2015.

Congrats preeti. Don't worry you will get it today all the best.

my file was received in NDVO 15th August
just wanted to know if any august 2014 applicant has received any updates

thanks :'(

No updates for me I am Aug 29th Applicant . Status is AR/MR. :( :( :(

Shining moon . i agree with Fiza ...dont do any further MP things as it may cause negative impact. what you can do is order GCMS Notes takes a month for reply tho !

I am may 2014 applicant , even tho we have been told in notes interview recommended ...2 days back :'(

till date we have not done mp things as per cic they say you have to wait till 13 months before you go to mp ...

I am surprised that your MP went ahead with an inquiry considering you are an August applicant. It is too early to expect anything. They are working on july files yet. please keep patience.

These early inquiries can sometimes cause a negative impact. lets not make visa offcier screw our cases any further.......we have been waiting since April 2014

Hi everyone,

The speed at which NDVO is working these days it seems like it would take 10-12 months for normal cases :-\. Which would again mean all of them would have to do re-medicals and again it would further delay the process ??? ???. Most of the June applicants (16 applicants) got their IP's in December, which I believe was the fastest timeline for 2014. Since than NDVO has just moved upto 16th July applications. This is ridiculously slow >:( >:(, I really hope they start working faster otherwise its going to be a long wait for all of us here. :( :(

It would be considered as Arrange Marriage

For Relationship and Marriage - Make a story - Add photographs from the time you met till the time you have filled your forms. Add approx 100 + photographs of your wedding only. I suggest it is better to ever write the relations also on the back side of the pic. Like one with Parents of Bride, Groom etc etc..
Also, when you write the story mention as much as details as possible - Like how you first met, to where you met, name the famous places
Describe your honeymoon story in detail - Like how you started your day what you did after that - The idea is it should be like as novel, when you read it one can imagine the journey. Also, your story should be backed by the location pics you would provide (20 to 30 pics). Write location names on back of the pictures. Add Boarding passes/ tickets of your honeymoon. Dont think about the space constraint add extra pages as required

For Chats - Add Skype screenshots - FB chat history, Whats app history - Add as much as you can - Mine was 400 + pages. Dont remove the fights or any discussions from the Chat. This helps you being in a genuine relation ship.

Add phone logs of communication - better to add phone bills of Canada

Also add Bills of Marriage palace, Caterer, Marriage Certificate, Gurudwara/ Temple Record copy, Shopping bills of wedding shopping or shopping done after wedding. Copy of wedding cards (Both Families).

After all this, I dont think your file can stuck for the interview. It should easily clear.

Thank you so much for the detailed response !

Another question, as it was arranged we only met 2-3 times before deciding to get married. Our courtship was mainly done in the 6 months that followed after our families had agreed. For the question about proposal is it ok to say I proposed only after a week or that seems strange ?

Hi everyone
I am living in Canada. I have sponsored my wife last year to Canada, but m still stuck in immigration backlog. The file is currently with New Delhi visa Office. So i am going to apply for her Gcms notes on her behalf. I have few questions.
Firstly in section A in question 1 do i select information act or privacy act.
Secondly in Section A in question 1 do i select yes or no(I am applying GCMs notes for my wife. The file is currently in New Delhi).
Thirdly in Section C do i select a or b.And then which check box to tick next.
Any help will be appreciated...

HSD, i recently applied for GCMS notes as well as we are the may 2014 applicant and still in AR. i just followed the instructions in this youtube video. hope this helps.

Update: I tried posting a link here but it says I am not allowed to post links. so just google for "youtube how to request ATIP notes".

Just answer as honestly as possible. This is going to New Delhi office. they are used to seeing a lot of arranged marriage cases and i am sure are familiar with indian cultures.

Mine is very similar to you, arranged marriage and had met only a few times before the wedding. I suggest you write a good cover letter for both the sponsor and the principal applicant on how both of you got to know each other and how you eventually decided to marry. The officers at NDVO know how the arrange marriages in India take place where the to be couples do not see each other much before the marriage. And provide as much proof you can, even the smallest things matter, movie tickets, restaurant bills, wedding shopping bills, everything that you can think about.

All the best. :)

As per my calculations its time for the august applicants to hear some good news....coz hopefully july is about to complete...if they wrk timely i guess we all will b able to get our ppr soon...hope so we all meeet our loved ones asap...
I believe in god and have confidence that we will get thru all these waitings very soon and land in canada

It is perfectly fine to say you proposed after one week. Also, in case you have any proofs on any function or meetings before wedding, that will add value to your file.

NDVO handles arrange marriage cases on frequent basis, so you need not to worry on that part. The visa officer should be impressed that you both communicated frequently. Make sure you attach few pictures and bills of post wedding time, for the time spouse stayed back in India.

I am going India next week to see my wife ;D and will be submitting all trip related documents to NDVO later on.

I have (2) Questions:
1. Should I (from Canada) or my wife (From India) submit these documents to NDVO ??
2. Do we send it to the New delhi visa office ? is there any additional documents we should be filling ?

Thanks,

Hey,

Any additional information should be submitted by the application in India
Also any documents pertaining to the file should be sent to NDVO, I wanted to send as well but was suggested by more senior member not to do the same.
