I see, we did the next day as well. But it would have been nice if these things were available at all border crossings ( not just some airports ). When we went to the social services office, there were 25 mexicans sitting for TMP SIN and they said we only work till 4: 15 ( we reached at 3:50Pm ) but luckily they managed to take care of it

ook that's crazy ....luckily when I went the next day I was the only person there so it got done in 10 mins max so it wasn't that bad...

..and you know whats the best part, the office was expecting 20 odd Guatemalans for TMP SIN, so when the Mexicans turned up, they thought they were those Guatemalans, but then they tried to match the names, they were shocked to see Mexicans turn up in the same # so the whole office was rushing around

Senior members...
I can see the Application processing timeline on CIC website..which has been quarterly updated on October 30, 2013 (cases between October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013)
Is there a link anywhere to find/research on previous quarterly updates from CHC-ND...in the spousal category?
Or maybe New Delhi applicants can share the previous timelines which they have seen posted on CIC-website back in 2011-2012-2013
I remember that back in 2009 last quarterly update (Oct 2009)...it was taking 57 days in CPC-M and 6 months in CHC-ND to process
But majority of the applicants...who had no issues (no missing documents, PCC, Meds Complete, proper records, no mistakes in application) received their visas in around 2-3 month period...once the initial AOR with PPR was received in mail. ...the good ol' days... :'( Sighs

Would be nice to see the previous quarterly updates...if you remember any for year 2010-2011-2012-2013
Please share if you have any info on this matter. thanks

Was checking out TRACKITT website and filter cases based on passport request Jan 2013-marc 2013..
I found 14 cases case with timelines as follow
Approved 8 Pending 6

And from those 8 approved...6 applicants got their Passport back in Late May early June 2013
So!! 60% chance of getting your passport back with shiny visa in May-June 2013 :P :P

Hi All

I see 'Decision Made' on ECas as of Jan 23rd 2014. I still have not received any email or physical letter from CIC confirming my SA.

My worry is- based on reading other posts, that sometimes, the file just sits in CPC-M until you call and followup and only then they send the actual letter and then only they transfer the file to NDVO.

I called and spoke with the useless folks at the call center and all of them are giving conflicting information. One of them says, an email was sent on 23rd, another says a 'letter' was sent on 27th. I am worried.

What should I do? Bottomline-I want the file transferred to NDVO. How do i verify that?

hi roger I had the same problem like u..........I had decision made and I didn't recv my letter of approval or any transfer to ndvo........we called the call center 4 times and all gave us the different stories but they did tell us we got approved .....so my hubby called them up and complained to the call center and they immediately called us back and emailed as another copy of the letter which is done is rare cases ...so I got dm on 15th may and I got the letter only on 19th june...........but later thru my mp in November we got to know that ndvo got my file only on 15th july.....and all this was coz of the strike......(so I lost 2 months)
but I don't think this shld be your problem since strike is over now....but u shld call them and speak to the complain department if u don't get your letter this week
hope this helps good luck :)

Hi Myrah, Thank you so much for your valuable response. I just got the SA letter today in the physical mail. It does say the file will be transferred to NDVO. Should I now also keep following up with these jokers here in CPC-M so that they forward my file to NDVO on time Or should I now let it just ride?

looks like vikasgandhi and sweetsun got PPR
My wife received a generic email from CHC-ND informing her about her application and client number and asked her to submit PCC and pay for PR landing fee if already haven't done so.
Let see when she receives PPR.
Myrah--did these two user received PPR request in email format? can u please inquire
thanks

Received the electronic mail on 23rd Jan 2014.
Mailed by Blue Dart courier on 27.01.2014 the following
a) Covering letter
b) Request letter from CIC email print out
c) Photo copy of Landing fee payment
d) Photo copy of PCC i) country 1 ii) India
e) Passports i) Old ii) Current

Through the tracking system verified. Shipments deliverred on 28th Jan 2014 @ 4.30pm.
To be done and not done is affixing Bar code stickers which might come in their snail mail God only knows when and that too for the already lazy NDVO to just scan and enter the details. Atleast let them type the data and do a little work. Now I am in the waiting game watching others movement praying every one applied gets the Visa faster so that my turn comes early.
