NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hi All

I am New Delhi applicant. I have my SA as of Jan 23rd 2014.

My question is in regards to PPR:

1) Which email address will the PPR come from so that I can have my wife add it to her contacts and so that the PPR Email does not go to her spam folder?

Pl advise.

brother my guess is that delhi-immigration is for inbound emails
delhiimmigration is for outbound
I checked and this is what it is

I have been reading stuff on the cic.gc.ca website and have a query.
It states :

There are two ways you can have an immigration medical exam, depending on your immigration category
Wait for instructions once you have submitted your application Undergo your exam before you submit your application (Only for certain Family Class applicants)

Whats the better option?
Do I apply first and wait for Immigration to instruct me?
Or does doing the medicals first and sending it in with the application helps speed up the process.

Hi, usually everyone gets the medicals done and submits the forms (which the doctor gives that has the barcode to access the medicals online) with the application. Some applicants have been lucky that NDVO has given them visa seeing that the medicals were expiring, but some applicants had to re do them. So it may be good to get it done at the same time as the application do you could be lucky to geet your visa before meds expire.

My wife received a generic email from CHC-ND informing her about her application and client number and asked her to submit PCC and pay for PR landing fee if already haven't done so.
Let see when she receives PPR.
Myrah--did these two user received PPR request in email format? can u please inquire

The letter is the same, no matter if it is paper or email. The response is generic. If you received it, it is PPR.
And Ecas can only say the following:

Permanent Residence
1.We received application for permanent residence on MM DD YYYY.

2.We started processing application on MM DD YYYY (This is your IP or 'In Process' Date).

3.Medical results have been received (shows up for some applicants at start of processing and later after IP for others).

4.A decision has been made on application. The office will contact concerning this decision (this is a generic response. They never contact you after DM or 'Decision Made').

5 entered Canada at XXYYZZ Airport on MM DD YYYY and became a Permanent Resident (only after you land in Canada).

There is no mention of the passport requested of if they have received the passport once it is mailed.

always do the medicals just before u apply and send the original receipt with your application .....it doesnt helps to speedy up your application but it gets things less complicated and delayed !!

Hahaha i wish that same too..cant imagine to get the visa so quickly lol..may your dreams come true. Be strong and be patient like all of us are still waiting for visas from 2013 applicants. Dont worry you will get good news without a delay. All the best for your processing. God bless you!
