When you are feeling down, or nervous, or frustrated... don't be. We all know what we are getting into. And this is just a short time in our long lives. I am sure we will forget about this ordeal as time passes.
Only remember...

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!!!

And don't let these emotions break you or drown you. You will get through this :D :D
because when God closes a door, he opens many more!
That means you have many options in front of you and you will see them if you look for them.

May He bless us all!

Thanks!! I was just remembering this dialogue from Finding Nemo, where the father fish travels many miles across the ocean to find his son. And he endures a lot of hardships but finally reunites with his son. And his friend sings these 3 words repeatedly in one scene "Just keep swimming" and now its my mantra too. No matter what hardships we endure, we just need to keep going!

I usually calculate that it takes the visa officers approximately 1.5 to 2 months to process through 1 month of applications. Right now they are starting June in the month of February and will take up March too. July will be processed in late March and April and so on. I would assume that, since you are early December applicant, you can hear some movement on your application in late September or October.

Dear All,

As you know, I applied on Dec 19th and got my SA on Jan 23rd 2014.

2) when my wife receives her PPR, which courier company should she use? which one is recommened by NDVO? I read on their website, that if one uses VFS services, they will respond faster. Is this correct?

Pl advise.

if you are talking about mailing passport to NDVO after your wife receives PPR, you should use Bluedart company and they will carry to NDVO. NDVO wont inform you if they receive your passport or not. You can check online with a tracking number so you will know they get it. :)
