JUNE APPLICANTS HAVE STARTED GETTING PROCESSED ;D

does your facts say anything about processing getting any faster now. coz few days ago i heard about may applicants and now its june.

no ways how faster may started 1st week nov its 15th jan now and there are half of may still waiting for visa's and they started june applicants......and june applicants got ip today when they are already on their 7th month....according to this july will start only in march which makes their processing time 8 months by the time someone in july gets ip....strike has ruined everything and delayed everyone application........look at the backlog pending from jan-may now.....loads of applicants....and 2012 omg they crossed 15 months already !!

OMG you almost freaked me out. it wasnt that difficult to wait for my own PR than hers. I got my own PR in less than 8 months when i applied.

Hi All,

I am an Indian working in Kuwait. My fiance is PR in Canada and we are going to marry this December post which we want to settle in Canada. I had few questions regarding the sponsorship process.

1. Can I select New Delhi as the visa issuing centre as it takes less time than Abu Dhabi (it takes around 18-20 moths there). She is right now on a PR and according to the rule she has to stay in Canada while my PR in process and I dont want to wait 18-20 months.

2. Can I apply for student visa while my PR is in process? In that way I will be with her and be able to get Canadian education also.

3. If I am allowed to apply for student visa, the will my PR application will be an inland or outland?

I am new with all the visa process so I would like to request all the experts to chip in with your comments.

Thats so sweet of you dear... well I am sure I ll be taking a lot guidance from all the memebers here... obviously everyone has some or the other thing to share.
You know we as in men can be really strong in this waiting game...but I admire the strength shown by yougurls/ladies who have spent all this time right after marriage and kept calm for so long. Hats off!!!!!

I find, though, that I am the patient one and my hubby is the stubbornly impatient one (He was almost expecting that we would get the passport back with visa within 3 months until the strike happened, unfortunately). So I guess it is different for everyone. And if you have been the strong pillar of support for your wife, then that is really great, also because being opposites in these aspects can be the strong fevicol of the relationship.
We appreciate your admiration of us being strong and I can equally say vice-versa.

I totally agree with you. Me either. i cant b that way like checking on ecas all the times will make you depressed too. I checked it like once a week is enough for me. I hate to see the same status. Im proud of you being like this.

How much time do they take to send the documents to New Delhi and how long does new delhi takes to acknowledge it.
In short "whats gonna happen next?"

Yes it can be either. Did you read what it said on decision made? If you got approved for the sponsor, congrats!!!! Next step is you have to wait for ppr within one month or more than that by email or mail. Make sure to check the spam folder too. All the bestt!

So next step is for NDVO to email you asking for your passport (actually would be your wife's passport). I consider this the AOR because they wouldn't have sent your PPR if they didn't have your file. So it takes approximately a month to get the PPR. Make sure to check spam folders. And they will email your wife as she is the applicant and has the passport that they need. After that, we wait patiently and troll the forums lol

I just need to know if that has to be just filled for my spouse or is it have to be filled for all her family member ..that is her mom and dad too?

Hi, It is just for your wife to filll out unless you are sponsoring her parents to come with her too..
So yeah, only need her to fill and give her 6 pics only.

thx u yes we needed another thread for 2014 ya I understand what u are saying but this strike has delayed everything by now they wld have touched august applicants ...and presently they issuing visa's to may so the current topic is may remaining ppl are pretty silent and will come alive only when their month is touched ...give it time till feb u will have loads of new applicants who applied in jan-feb 2014....... currently the spread sheet is full of 2013...and since all applicants from may onward are getting visa only in 2014 both the pages will be linked on n off for questions and answers...basically we all will keep a track on both these forums....and all will continue to help each other as a family
