I just got "decision made" in sponsorship status online. does it mean positive or it can mean either??

Yes it can be either. Did you read what it said on decision made? If you got approved for the sponsor, congrats!!!! Next step is you have to wait for ppr within one month or more than that by email or mail. Make sure to check the spam folder too. All the bestt! :)

There are very few cases where sponsor is rejected. The only time you get your application back is when there are missing documents. They would reject you if you have a criminal record, are on government welfare or have sponsored someone recently. If you answer no to any of them, then You have been approved. Congrats!

do i have to send her passport as soon as we get ppr or can we take a couple of months to send it to them?
I am planning to apply for her visitor visa. i know most say its useless but i still want to take my chances.

Anyhow i am getting obsessed with this website. time spent on this website everyday is even more than facebook now. :D

I know exactly how that feels. I too want to be on the forum and checking my ECAS every few minutes/hours and I would have, if I didn't have other responsibilities at home and work. Well, I am not so much on ECAS because they haven't even come close to July applicants. But, as a senior member, being on this forum is very rewarding and it is a nice feeling when I help someone too.

However, I have been trying to cut back a little because staying up at all hours of the day and night on this forum, when not chatting with my husband) is starting to affect my health (I don't know how Myrah is still going strong) and once I am with my hubby, he wouldn't be happy to have me glued at the keyboard rather than spending time with him...lol. But I plan to still be active and as helpful as I can (so don't worry fellow 2013-2014 members... ;))

Ur welcome.
You can send her passport anytime after she gets ppr but the good thing is to send the passport early because she can get the visa soon. I suggest you not to go for her visitor visa because it will be problem for the sponsorship and she can get rejected for visitor visa. I think you should be patient until she gets approval for the sponsorship. Does she have travel history?

Thats so sweet of you dear... well I am sure I ll be taking a lot guidance from all the memebers here... obviously everyone has some or the other thing to share.
You know we as in men can be really strong in this waiting game...but I admire the strength shown by yougurls/ladies who have spent all this time right after marriage and kept calm for so long. Hats off!!!!!

No buddy she doesnt have any travel history.. her passport is completely clean..
I am being very patient and I understand what you are saying but she is being impatient and you know we men cant stand against their will.

Thats perfect. Dont worry she will get the visa soon if she doesnt have travel history and everything will be fine with her. I understand how she feels that way but there is nothing you can do than waiting. Im patient but my hubby is so impatient so i made him relaxed and not to think too much thats all we can do. i know this is killing us for waiting. You can go and visit your spouse on the vacation for sometimes too. :)

I totally agree with you. Me either. i cant b that way like checking on ecas all the times will make you depressed too. I checked it like once a week is enough for me. I hate to see the same status. Im proud of you being like this. :)
