just applied for my notes again. this will be my 3rd set. hopefully i'll see something new in this one. last 2 were same, nothing started only had eligibility passed. wait is killing me

In my notes criminality passed eligibility passed only security check is balance coz in security check status not showing in the notes its blanked like old value and new value is not showing but other things are clear last update date was 27 Sep 2015 location says registery anyone know bout that plz share

Eligibility passed = no interview required

Security/criminality checks all vary from case-to-case, this could be done in weeks or sometimes in months, all depending on travel history, docs, etc.

Bottom line there is no exact timeline for checks.

Hi RV25v - Thank you very much for your reply.. Also, I saw that you wrote to some other member that after re-medicals you got another line on your ECAS - medical received .. My husband only got a request for chest x-ray on Jan 28.. and he did it right away.. so is there a way to confirm they have received it.. or if the MP says Eligibility and Medical Passed that means they have the 2nd medical as well?

Now they asked for the medical for that they already send the request. however, we didnt have request to do the PCC. and we dont want to take any chance that delay the visa. so how to do the PCC without immigration request. we tried before but they said you need latter from immigration. Please suggest what to do.

Do you know what triggered interview for you. Anything NDVO would consider red flags in your case.

Hi every one , its my first time to post on this website i really need help i have seen so many people helping each other. i m 2014 Nov applicant i have sponsored my husband through new delhi India and its in process now. recently i have received this email from New Delhi immigration office "In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:
Ø > Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document. Please obtain your machine readable passport and submit it at the Islamabad office after you have received a request for the submission. This must be received at Islamabad office as soon you receive a request.

(Date format is YYYY/MM/DD)
Failure to submit them within that time period could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and send to the High Commission at the e-mail address. Unless specifically requested, original documents are not required. You may submit scanned copies by e-mail" HINT: New delhi embassy usually ask people to get their visa from Pakistan. which is normal according to our case.
I don't really understand this. my questions are:
1) does my husband need to update his old handwrite passport too or he has to just get the electronic passport?
2) should we wait till the request that they mentioned in the email or should we send ahead of time because his passport gets expired in 2016 march?

Hello AH2512,

In very odd cases the new medicals will show up in ECAS - Very strange the way it works, we received DM and PPR but no 4th line added whatsoever, whereas some people have had a 4th line added after DM and PPR. The best way to find out if NDVO has received your meds is by asking your MP to inquire for you, that is exactly what I did and my MP had informed me the same day that the new IME Full Meds were received by NDVO. Ask your MP to find out for you if "updated" meds are received

I was reading a post in this forum about the time sponsor can travel outside of Canada. They mentioned a sponsor can have max of 4 weeks as a vacation. Is it true? Its been a month that I am with my wife outside of Canada? Does that affect the process?

In that case scenario this may affect your process - as part of the process and as to what the Immigration look for is that you have to show them that you are continuously living in the country. I believe 2 weeks to 1 month is fine - anything lengthy may cause an issue.

Wow. I did not know that. What do you suggest? I should go back to Canada and wait for the process to complete.
