nothing. i have no clue what the heck they are doing with our files. i m so frustrated. n ya my husband is in india

I spoke to my lawyer today to see if anything else can be done. He said CIC has slowed significantly and many people's files are on hold. They are processing them and soon they will reply to all 2014. He couldn't say what soon is or how much longer to wait. He did advise me not to apply for for TRV for mywife beacuse we're so close to 17months. hope this helps some.

What i've done recently is gathered copies of all their letters sent to me, and have briefly summarized and replied to them, in a package with my recent travel documents and proof of places visited in India. (this was a week ago). Let's see if it helps.

I am December 2014 Applicant . My wife's medical expired but still no remidcal request .

I have applied Notes , and below is the remark upadted on 18th Nov 2015 .
" Docs on the file is reviewed . Sponsors info including employment letter reviewed . Interviewed to be scheduled "

what does is mean ? are they interview me or my wife ?

Please help me in this matter ?

Any word on interview date? We are December, 2014 applicant. I see you say its your husband in India? Is most interview for men or women ?? Does anyone know this?

Did your lawyer mention what happens when you reach the 17 months? I know you have then legitimate claim to ask what delay is. Did he say they speed up your file after 17 months past? Your 17 months up in March right?

Ya 17months up in march. He doesn't have a true answer for me, but said after a week or so (march 8th - 17months) we will send another package to NDVO stating how my wife is registered to do an Exam in July 2016 in Toronto. On that bases we will try to get an answer from them regarding the PPR. Otherwise he keeps telling me to have patience and wait a month until march end.

I wish you good luck!! Please be sure to let us know what happens with second package to NDVO. Hard to plan life when no one has ansers. We have family obligations in 2016 and praying that husband will be in Canada before soon. Are you going to MP office on Sunday to hear what she has to advise?

I had emailed them to tell me the status of my application and this was a while ago beforw i didnt knew we will have interview . they replied after almost 4 months. And case specific enquiry i had sent additional proofs and asked for an update on file. But the only reply i got was they will schedule wen they are ready

I think it goes to both emails for sponsor as well as applicant.. In our case we both received it at the same time .. Good Luck

FIRST, Even MP cannot help you in your interview scheduling. I know it is really hard to digest, but other than waiting you don't have much choice.

SECOND, You can apply for Visitor Visa (TRV) anytime! and it doesn't affect your file. Some applicant's who are "interview recommended" are already in Canada on a TRV.
Please do show GOOD ties to India when applying for TRV.

THIRD, NDVO themselves don't know when your interview date is so they cannot tell you the date and that's why the GCMS notes have no update on them since the last time they checked your eligibility.

Hello to all my seniors...i applied under mpnp skilled worker , my question is my file jus transfered to my local visa office NDVO on dtd.24.02.2016 so how much time it will take more to ask medical and passport request?
