All 2014 applicant in GTA please attend this event. Bring in your latest GCMS notes to the event. Atleast we can convince the MP and her immigration minister.

Hi,

My aunt/uncle represented behalf of me to meet Yasmin. She requested to come and meet personally rather speaking there. But she told that lack of staff making the process delays. When we addressed how 2015 are getting faster but not 2014. She mentioned that our files got stuck with assigned officers and new files are being processed by different countries where the load is less. She confirmed that even 2014 will pic up very soon.

Our personal feeling is - she just gave convincing answers to make us happy but 2014 applicants are punished for sure.

no.1 slowest Canadian embassy is new Delhi. no rules.

They work according to the instructions given to them..when to speed up..when to slow down

When they meet next time, ask them to request NDVO to take our 2014 files from damn REGISTY and make faster decision. We dont want new law or lobby our cases. Just faster processing and decision making.

I am 26 Nov 2014 applicant, first marriage of us, no age gap, all rituals pics / proofs submitted...still Interview recommended, When they gonna take interview ? march 2016 going to start.. and july 2014 applicants still not finished... 22 months processing time going on for Interview candidates... extremely bad/frustrating. Why NDVO recommended interview for me ? If recommended ... then why we have to wait for 22 months to get email for interview confirmation ?
How many interview candidates from august 2014 to november 2014 waiting ?

We are in exact same situation. December 2014 application. My husband in India and me here. First marriage for both. Wedding rituals proof and photos . No age gap. Much evidence on love and marriage. Interview required found out from ordering notes. Not from NDVO. 15 months in March still waiting and NOTHING from NDVO...... But 2015 applicants processed and interviews complete and in Canada already... 2015 applicants cleared through other office says comment before. 2014 sit in piles in back so 2015 continue up todate. No one cares..we do not matter

Btw not all 2015 applicants have gotten interview dates. There are 2 types of interview categories. Minor and Major doubt. There are a few applicants from Jan, Feb and March 2015 who have no interview dates.

I think they will get interview dates after 2014 interviews are cleared.

I am October 06, 2014 Applicant no reply from any of the visa office no updates and 2015 applicants are getting visa till march this is so unfair
i guess we all should email to immigration officer and prime minister with same complaint of unfairness, if people will complaint then it will be seems like a big issue and they will think about it. it's just I am thinking, hope it works

YES hoping they would speed up the process and have more human resources for those pending cases. Frustrating

We all are on the same boat. Late 2014 applicants waiting for some form of communication from NDVO. And they don't do that.

Very sad to see the pace of the working of CIC and NDVO both. Are all the remaining 2014 cases having red flags ?? Why are they so much delayed ?? Does everyone have a red flag ?? Also listening to people they say that if the princiPal applicant is a male then it takes time. How much of it is true?? Please share your views ?

I don't think male/female PA is an issue here. And not all the applicants are getting red flags. Most of the easy processing applications are done. I suppose and its my guess that most of the applicant in the forum are waiting in the process and there is something peculiar with the case processing. Such as late response, no communication from the VO and others. It seems no one in the forum is sure why the process is slow for us. Let's share the processing details so that we can have a good guess on whats happening with others.

I didn't go through a lawyer, but i put my file in myself after consulting with few lawyers. When i received AOR and request of police clearance, i never replied to the letters because i thought I didn't have to since i had submitted all the documents initially with the application.

So i'm thinking because i didn't reply to their letters my file might be delayed?
