RECEIVED PASSPORT WITH VISA.......thanks all the members of this forum who helped and supported me. I applied notes 6 times, MP enquiry 5 times and contacted many forum members to understand this immigration process. So if anyone need any help regarding this, pls INBOX me.

Hi guys
Have you heard about international driving permit ????..
Which allows us to drive for six months in other countries for a limited period ..??
But you can apply for it after visa is issued as you need visa photocopy to attach with in RTO office ..
Does this permit also work in Canada ....?

If anyone of you guys knows about it PLZ reply ...
I m expecting an fully explained answer from rksandhu or waiting2exhale ..

as I heard from other people our international license allows us to only 3 months in Canada to driving. ..
for ur other question didn't ans it bcoz due to suddenly planning to Canada I didn't got my RTO certificate. ..so don't know about it...

hello everyone,
I am a may 2013 applicant...still waiting to be united with my husband....
Now, we applied in may 2013, and my husband's sponsorship was approved in june 2013, file transferred to new delhi office in june 2013 and passport was requested in july 2013 which was submitted in july 2013 itself.
they asked for a document (which we had already included in the application) in december 2013, we sent that document again in december 2013 itself. so I have received only two e-mails from new delhi office. Since then my husband have contacted MP office and the MP office have exchanged a few e-mails with CHC New Delhi which they forwarded to my husband and me. We have applied for GCMS notes three times and till now it says security and criminal check not started but it includes the notes about exchange of e-mails from MP office. Now the last reply which CHC new delhi gave to the MP's office was in November 2014 and it was that my application is in queue for interview and that they will soon contact me directly. MP office say we must wait!!!

Now my main question after all this is that many people are suggesting me to go to embassy and ask, or meet some lawyer who works in the embassy and they will help to get me the visa, pay some money and your work will be done and all sorts of stuff..... these are the people who I don't know how much they actually know about immigration.....my aunt and my in-laws and my husband say that there are many cheats who just want to make money in delhi.....and that we cannot really do anything but wait..........my parents are getting influenced and they want me to meet some lawyer.......what should I do?? will paying money help?? can any lawyer really help getting my visa?? please help........

First of all, no one/MP/ famous lawyer/your aunt or uncle/ any officer in New Delhi help you to get visa. As you are waiting since May 2013, they must have mentioned the reason in NOTES. I'm also May 2013 applicant( got visa last week), but they mentioned all details about my application in my Notes. For more details, INBOX me.

Just curious to ask why it has taken soo long, did they request you submit additional documents or forms?

I am sure you will get it soon since you had redone the medicals. Did you try contacting a MP etc?
