Hey guys!

Got my notes today, everything seems ok :D
Medical: passed
Eligibility: passed
security: in progress
Criminality: in Progress

This was the side note:
"Pa and the sponsor are compatible in age, education, religion, and speak the same language, based on the review of the docs and information on file, the relationship appears genuine. The Fact that PA and sponsor have a child from this relationship, further strengthens this perception".

It probably will because they ask you for more documents every time they ask for new documents, it creates delay between 1 to 3 months ( the time when the officer gets to look at the file again) Thats what I think...

Thats a long time to DM. Did you have any travel history OR other hiccups with your application?
Any input form you will help the audience here understand this really time consuming process from IP to DM.

Hey,

Yeah that was a very long wait from IP. I did have travel history, but just vacations never stayed anywhere for more than 2 weeks. There were no other hiccups in terms of my eligibilty, the one reason i assume that could have delayed the process is that i requested for my passport to be returned in may, which i received in june and i returned it to the visa office after my trip to France on july 28th.

Btw I received my Passport with Visa this afternoon, That was quick! :)

There are three document's which has to submitted, if the Divorce was from Canada. One can request for as many of those three document's by paying those fees- (I did order 5 sets of all those documents)- original 5 sets.

See if you had your divorce in Ontario you have to go to the court services.
Of your in Toronto- you have to go to:-

You can order as many copies you want

Divorce:-
393 University Avenue, 10th floor
8:30- 5:00
----////
1) Certified copy or file marked copy of the petition or complaint filed with the court seeking divorce by the applicant;
2) Certified copy or file marked copy of the order granting divorce issued by the judge
3) divorce certificate - which is granted after 30 days of divorce order

OR you could walk in - to the court you filed divorce and request for the certified copy of the petition at a small fee.

Thanks for the details, it certainly gives us an idea to calculate a rough timeline to DM.
Congrats and all the best!
