Got my notes today, everything seems ok
Medical: passed
Eligibility: passed
security: in progress
Criminality: in Progress

This was the side note:
"Pa and the sponsor are compatible in age, education, religion, and speak the same language, based on the review of the docs and information on file, the relationship appears genuine. The Fact that PA and sponsor have a child from this relationship, further strengthens this perception".

seems like everything done from ur side so ur DM on its way buddy. ..when my notes say same thing then in few days my visa was issued...so letsc

Its Decision Made Finally!!

Below is my Timeline.

Application received- 30th September 2013
Sponsorship Approval Decision made - 16th October 2013
Medical done-1st April 2013
Passport Requested- 06 November 2013
Changed to In Process-19th June 2014
Re medical - 20th June 2014
DM- 9th Dec 2014

There are three document's which has to submitted, if the Divorce was from Canada. One can request for as many of those three document's by paying those fees- (I did order 5 sets of all those documents)- original 5 sets.

See if you had your divorce in Ontario you have to go to the court services.
Of your in Toronto- you have to go to:-

You can order as many copies you want

Divorce:-
393 University Avenue, 10th floor
8:30- 5:00

1) Certified copy or file marked copy of the petition or complaint filed with the court seeking divorce by the applicant;
2) Certified copy or file marked copy of the order granting divorce issued by the judge
3) divorce certificate - which is granted after 30 days of divorce order

hey Kavitha,

I got mail for sponsor petition copy.. If my hubby directly send that copy from canada to delhi office.. If there any problem?

They will ask that why applicant is not send something like this?

Keep calm my friend
In my case I got the interview letter after 1 year ..
And still waiting for my visa after everything is done ...

I know it's hard for everyone of us to wait and wait and wait...
But I recomend you to just not to tense that much and expect things that much fast and early ...

if there are any red flags in your case like ,,
They just want to see if your marriage is genuine or not ,
if your spouse is much older or younger than you..,
Were parents from both sides were present at marriage..,
If it's second marriage for one of you ..,
Or if everything from first meating to the marriage had happened very quickly and fast ..( jhat mangni bhat byah)..,
Or any other thing which they find suspicious ..

In short they just waste your time and finely say ( ok it looks like a genuine case but we will take some more time to do background checks and you have to wait...
