I am soon going to be permanent resident of canada by december nd have a good job/income from a reputed mnc . I have been living in canada from past 2 years (On work permit ) .Once i become PR in dec , i intend to go back to india(New delhi) and get married in january .

From all you experience guys I just wanted to know what timelines(Medicals,aor, PPR etc) i can expect for sponsoring my wife PR before my wife joins me in canada . Will there be any hurdles in sponsoring as i have good income

Can i bring on visitor visa while application is in process ?

I am gona write a letter to him today about how this immigration system has parted our lives from our family....

I will also explain them they dont have any pattern of working they are just picking files here and there and working on that people from June still waiting for VISA and those who applied in JAN 2014 already have VISA with them this is not done.... either take a dicision on file YES or NO... we will see what else we can do...

I hope people on this forum will support me on this.... so i request every one to write letter to Ministry.... right away....

we pay taxes to get the things done not to hang in here for 15 months.... due to these VO's

I completely agree with you. I wrote him an email yesterday about my hubby's file and I was thinking of calling him today. Once he replies I will defnitely bring up the issues we are facing.

I completely support this, if everyone can email him I think he will take action. It's worth a try guys!
you guys can also email him..call him..make an appt..he is the mp for ajx, ontario as well

How thoughtful what u r doing for us is very appreciable. So positive thinking, which helps us to go through our tough time. Its very hard to wait for such a long time. But ur words help us a lot. Even though u have a little kid, still u take time and reply most of the time for each applicant. U r d most deserving person in the forum to get visa as soon as possible. 8)

Good exercise. Pl add I P date or month also. All the IP with more than a fortnight shall go to DM shortly. Yours is the first case.

sure dear I will added it soon. ..yeah I also hv a feeling dat like last month...in the end of this month they also clear most of the IP cases. ..
but dere are also some of them before me ..so maybe my turn will b late...

We have received the medical reports and the results are valid until 23-05-2015. The application is currently in the queue for final review. It will be reviewed in accoirdance with its place in the queue for applicants in this category, based on the application received date.

absolutely right step...i m with you...
we all are free whole day just checked dat stupid status who will never changed. ..just spend our time to take a gud thing...
to write a letter to the minister is not harmful. ...we all send atleast one letter then maybe in the end the will pickup one of them...so nothing in our hands except all day waiting n waiting. ..

according to this reply one thing is clear that everything is done on ur file. ..they just put aside all the remedical cases and IP cases and put a specific time when they will again open dere files. ..

so like other applicants whether applicants wait for april may or June all of them received DM in august do lets hope others will b received DM soon. ..
you hv just pateince. ..when they will opens files again your turn will b first. ..gud luck

if it is going to be an arranged marriage, stay in India for a while after the marriage and take trips with your wife and shoot lots of happy pictures...if it is love marriage then you should already have proof of relationship in the form of communication with your spouse; proof of trips taken; pictures, etc...for wedding get your parents, your spouse's parents; siblings etc in the wedding pictures; have honeymoon; proof of communication after you get back to Canada and then file an application for your spouse...in short prepare well with solid proof of solid relationship before your send in your application for your spouse; your income will never be an issue as long as you don't claim welfare checks from the government (in short you don't even need a job but proof that you have not and you/spouse won't become a burden to the government). You can apply for visitor visa but chances of getting it low but some people in this forum did get visitor visa even though they had filed their application for family based PR...so you can try your luck with visitor visa.

there is no hurdles to sponsoring ur wife..
but when you file her application dere is nothing who speed up the process...just hv pateince for few months. ..hope they will decrease the process by then...

but few important points-
●you can apply visitor visa but chances are so low..its all depend on ur luck...so try one time. .
●just make sure never did medical so before ur application...just do it when you send ur application package..
●you will b going to married in Jan so you hv plenty of time then arrange ur documents now...dat after 2 months you will sure send ur file. ..

Plz add me im 24 th sep 2013 applicant in process since july 5th 2014. Did my remedical on 25 th august 2014. PPR requested on 24 th august 2014

i can imagine ur state ... its vry vry frustrating ... all activities have been kept on stand still thinking kaise bhi udhar jindagi chalu karni hai ..... :
