Pooja as per people getting Visa, your turn should be this week... becoz till 15th Oct people got IP or DM last week. this week should be your and near by dates. But I think they cleared back-log this week. I dont know when god's light fall on us.

yeah rpandey ..our case is second marriage ...but i dont think thats red flag!!

W2E is it true that NDVO is processing straight forward cases first and letting others wait in queue as per neha's post yesterday??
is it is true that may take aug sept oocto appluicant how much time??

It's called file grading policy , just like a tomato grading technique at green house lol . Any ways that's the new plan of action to reduce waiting period . New target , April 2014 files to be cleared before Christmas holidays. All bad tomatoes will have to go intensive cleaning and clorinification step which will lead to extra time .

Don't worry you'll get it within 10 days . In my case obviously there's some glitch , but 99% of people receiving passport with 2-15 days .

I am not a expert but seem to me second will require extra scanning . Meaning they would wanna confirm through verification procedure if previous one was dissolved . Normally they will verify your divorce order with the district magistrate office . Same for sponsor and applicant .

JJ still trying to figure out why so much delay..majority of applicants whose status changes to 'DM' get their passports within a week to 10 days...so don't worry...

Hi W2E,can you please suggest the approximate time considered as "bring forward date" for the file to be checked again after requesting Additional documents.

There are no chances of getting visitor visa because before appling for PR i also applied for visitor visa and within 3 days they rejected.
So its better not to waste time and money in visitor visa just apply for your PR

Don't worry it's common , we all have faced it at some point due to some portal maintenance .

Folks.. its finally my OMG moment.

My wife received her passport today through VFS with COPR. Here is my timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on September 6, 2013.
We started processing your application on June 16, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. (June 21 , 2014).

I became paranoid that something is wrong as it took almost 3 weeks after DM to get the passport back. The visa was issued on the 18th of June so there wasn't any good reason for delay. We had sent the passport through VFS and had paid for return postage. I guess NDVO was just trying to test our will, we just needed to be patient.

This forum was really important to keep track of your application process otherwise not knowing whats going on for this many months can drive you insane. Many thanks to everyone for their valuable information, and good luck to everyone waiting.
