I have put my file for Canada spouse PR file in Feb 2014....medical has done and PCC has been submitted,..bt still did't get Passport request..

can u please tell me approximate time for my VISA.. VISA office is New DElhi

Now the official time is 13 months but it is being done faster and may get reduced to 9 pr 10 months or earlier. Nov 14 or earlier you will get your visa Wish you a speedy visa

No red flags...it was re-medical. I have no idea what took so long but there's another poster or two who have been waiting longer than I.

Only god knows what NVDO staff do.

Folks.. its finally my OMG moment.

My wife received her passport today through VFS with COPR. Here is my timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on September 6, 2013.
We started processing your application on June 16, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. (June 21 , 2014).

I became paranoid that something is wrong as it took almost 3 weeks after DM to get the passport back. The visa was issued on the 18th of June so there wasn't any good reason for delay. We had sent the passport through VFS and had paid for return postage. I guess NDVO was just trying to test our will, we just needed to be patient.

This forum was really important to keep track of your application process otherwise not knowing whats going on for this many months can drive you insane. Many thanks to everyone for their valuable information, and good luck to everyone waiting.

One is the applicants, the other is the sponsor.

Hmm, could be maintenance as another posted stated. Only other thing could be trying the application number (beings with a letter and has 9 numbers I believe).

Its been a while that I have been in this forum. I came to India to visit my hubby and stay with him till he gets his visa so we can go back together. However, I took only one month work leave hoping that my hubby will get visa in a month. I am nervous now. His medicals are expiring in one week and there is no updates yet. Is there any possibility that they will extend medicals or will they ask re-medicals? If so how long the process takes? Also, when will November 2013 files will be touched?

On ECAS my medicals are not even updated either. Is this common?

One time it wouldn't work with my information but did for my spouse.

Its not working for me either from the last 2 days ( I am the sponsor) but I can check the status with my wife's details.
A few more guys are facing this issue, one of them being a June applicant and other is a November applicant. Including you, so far 4 of us have reported this problem recently. I am not sure if any one else too is in the same boat?

You timed your trip right. your spouse iwll be getting IP/DM in a week or so. However, IP to DM nowadays is taking 3 weeks on an average and then 2 weeks to get passport. Not saying this is how long it will take for you but just in case. Hang in there with your spouse, and fly back together.

Sorry did not realise you are actually a november 2013 applicant. you are still 3 weeks out.
