criteria for visa approval- no previous marriage; no children; if love marriage, had known the applicant for a long time taken trips together; if love or arranged marriage, had honeymoon; great if the age gap if less than 2 years (even greater if they were born on the same day, same hours, same hospital, same doctor delivering simultaneously); sponsor and sponsored should not even be remotely related or living on the same street; great wedding with grandpas and grandmas all with fake teeth smiles; bridegroom should be on a horse going to the wedding hall otherwise no visa...

You are absolutely right. These morons dont understand this simple fact that if anyone is going for fake marriage they already know how to get the VISA. My husband has attended many marriages in Punjab where wen you go in wedding with huge gathering and came to know that its a fake marriage. Only genuine people marry for the sake of marriage and not for the sake of VISA actually. And getting all terms fulfilled is really not guaranteed. Just if someone is witty enough can understand this but not these morons...

Going by the timelines here I don't think I would receive PR anytime soon.

* My medicals are about to expire, should I proactively redo them and send them to New Delhi? Note that it said 'medicals received' in my online application status.
* New Delhi asked me for my PCC and I sent it to them via courier after they asked for it. Its been more than a month and I haven't received an acknowledgement in any way. I also sent them details of my new passport along with the PCC.

I appreciate your help.

*I suggest you to don't do remedical yet...when they asked it at dat time done it not now..everybody's status shows the same medical received. .
*they didn't send any acknowlegdement about whether they received ur pcc, passport or not...so its normal don't take tension just relax and just wait..

There are no chances of getting visitor visa because before appling for PR i also applied for visitor visa and within 3 days they rejected.
So its better not to waste time and money in visitor visa just apply for your PR

can any one suggest the approximate time considered as "bring forward date" for the file to be checked again after requesting Additional documents.

Few days back a guy shared a news about CIC meeting in calgary and a decision for giving priority to strong cases in 6 months and push other cases to 13 months
seems like true, they are jumping to next month leaving more than half of applicants from current month, many aug were waiting when they started sep, lot of sep are waiting when they started oct, and I can bet they will start nov within 2-3 weeks leaving many oct.
Now the trend is to show they are quickly done with applicants and they will finish dec in mid of aug, and the whole big package behind are doubtful cases, its not their fault or slow speed...rt?? and they will prove to be most efficient staff

nice job NDVO well done, atleast some of us are happy, but what is the criteria to decide priority, fancy arrange marriage??wowww

kya keh rahe ho tussi ...dnt gimme heart attacks ...Visa issue is very important now !!
