It's more than 15 days since my medical is expired but no email or letter for remedical ...
Seriously I can't even imagine how they are working on files ...
No system whatsoever at all....

Really disappointed yar ..

Any remaining August applicant got remedical request or any other info request...????

My medical expired on 12 may 2014 but still no req for remedical, but they requested additonal info on may 18 , 2014 but not medicals and I m aug applicant. No email, no letter nothing till now :-X

After Mississauga approves spousal application, how much average time is taken by NDVO to send the PP back...I am Asking Average time. 13 months is normal time

you can get an approximate number if you can access spreadsheet (for some reason i cannot open spreadsheet)...on an average, I think it takes 8 - 10 months to get a visa...

If you are not in a hurry then wait until you get married and provide wedding pictures; honeymoon pictures; etc so that it will all go in one package and NDVO will be convinced. But if you are in a hurry, file the application now (provide as much as documentation possible to strengthen the case) and then provide other pictures after the marriage. But send loads of pictures of wedding (make sure toothless grandpa smiling at the weddings) and honeymoon trips; communication documentations etc.

Changing last name makes a big difference if your application ends up with a conservative, traditional visa officer. In the past when someone had an interview, middle aged traditional visa officer woman asked why the last name was not changed; why no kids when the wife is getting old; all those gossipy TV serials watching women/men questions can be avoided with name change.

any kind of documentation helps the case (skype; instant messaging; whatsapp; pictures; trips takes to tourist spots - ticket stubs; testimonials from friends and chai wallas...son of a chai walla is even better but not sure if it would any difference with visa officer but it might with you as you can frame it)

In my case I was changed my last name..we have a baby also...but it doesn't make any difference in my case...I m sure my file is not in a conservative, traditional VO's hands...otherwise to see these things she will issue my visa on-the-spot...

no nothing. ..now you know that you will have an interview so they send request for remedical after your interview so relax and prepare urself for the interview. ..don't think about remedical it will come after the interview...just gather documents and talk with ur wife on every single details, match ur answers perfectly..and don't worry these morons send u letter in a few days.

but yet no news
I'm extra frustrated...
