thanks canada50 for the info... I have a que...I have lived in US with my husband for 4 years, then our visa expired and we departed...he wen to Canada since he is a Canadian citizen and I came to India for being an Indian citizen...Do you think this is gonna prolong my visa approval even though a PCC for US is sent as well? Also if my husband didn't visit us for the whole year we r in India, is a RED FLAG? Actually, my husband picked a new job in Canada so he cant come....also I don't want him to face the indian heat at all...can all the forum members suggest what can go wrong, if it does....otherwise we have all things pretty straight...
Your husband being the sponsor , his checks are done before the file got transferred to Delhi . So now only thing that's gonna take little longer is your own back ground checks . Even though you provided them with PCC , they will confirm with IFS for your last entry to India . PCC don't show what day you flew from us and if on the way you did anything . That can only be confirmed by airport authorities . So travel history always delay process little bit .
Second your relationship is genuine , and sure you will have enough evidence to prove your four year long and on going relation ship . Your had a child before applying and his DNA report will huge to confirm if it goes to interview . I sure you must have included some pictures taken together at the time your child's birth .
It's also true that similar cases like yours always go through scanner since you were in states and why didn't you apply earlier . Why only after us visa expired ? . But again in genuine relationship you will have more than enough evidence to prove yourself . Only thing I see is May be little extra time , you have nothing else to worry about .
