Don't assume anything about NDVO ... They are very lazy sometime, all depends on their Mood but not on timeline. NDVO used to be good but now full of FOOLS & SLACKERS

Hey guy , my status changed to DM today , but nobody called me from Delhi office to confirm any date of birth or asking me about traveling date . ??? My medical expires on June 7 , so like others with medical expiry soon been asked if they could travel before that date . I also read somewhere they extending medicals by one month . So anybody with more info on this ??

I don't remember the name of that person but for him they even extended by 2 months (~50 days). Don't worry if they didn't call you then that means they are giving you enough time to fly .

Wait until tomorrow..they can call you tomorrow..yes they extend it as well..where you are from? if you are in delhi/ncr then you will get your passport within next week maximum..

yes but i think they are almost done with all backlog due to strike and are now full steam ahead. I know atleast one September end applicant who has gotten her visa and she is not on this forum. this leads to assuming that they are ploughing ahead with Sep, then Oct, nov and then Dec.

June will be mostly Sep, Oct and Nov

July will be Oct, Nov and Dec

And so on.

Whatever it may be, we should know one thing-

EVERYONE WILL GET THEIR VISA- NO MATTER WHAT- THEY CANNOT DENY THE VISA. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF FEW MONTHS HERE OR THERE. EVEN THIS DELAY WHICH IS KEEPING US AWAY FROM OUR SPOUSES IS PROBABLY FOR GOOD AS IT TEST YOUR RELATIONSHIP IN A GOOD WAY AND WHEN THE SPOUSES ARE REUNITED, THEY WILL KNOW THAT EVEN STAYING PHYSICALLY APART WONT KEEP THEM APART AND SO BOTH OF YOU WILL CHERISH EACH OTHER EVEN MORE AND YOU WILL BE BETTER THAN OTHER COUPLES WHO NEVER SEPARATED AFTER MARRIAGE. NOTHING IS EVER LOST IN LIFE- IF YOU HAVE WAITED THIS LONG AWAY FROM YOUR SPOUSE, THEN YOU WILL REAP BENEFITS FOR THAT WAIT. PRAY TO GOD OR IF YOU ARE NOT RELIGIOUS, THEN PRAY TO YOUR INNER STRENGTH AND THINK COUPLE OF GOOD THINGS YOU WILL DO WITH YOUR SPOUSE WHEN YOU MEET AND KEEP DOING YOUR DAILY WORK.

They are taking long time to clear the backlog. I am also queued for interview and my medical also expired in march. I applied two month before you and still waiting for interview.
If you MP told you that interview is scheduled so that means you are going to hear within next 15 days regarding interview date & they usually give atleast 40-50 days time to get ready for interview.

If NDVO doesn't issue my visa soon then I am going to meet Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and I will ask him to Give Dharna/Protest outside NDVO office untill they issue my visa. ;D ;D ;D ;D

it works you should try it..I just mentioned that in this forum if I don't get a request for passport soon (it had been 9 months) or interview scheduled sooner then I would ask my buddy arvindy to do dharna in front of Canada High commission (to induce arvindy I offered him scarf to wear when it was 40 degrees celsius outside) and it worked...arvind never came but high commission scheduled interview (but no official interview notification..oh well one can frighten visa officers only so much)

did not get official passport request so sent it yesterday anyway....did remedicals too..by the way good luck with your interview ..if you had ordered notes and seen the reason for the interview prepare well to answer questions about their concerns...give them a slap on my behalf after you successfully pass the interview...
