Can you explain me little more about medical will decide whether she had to travel in few days or few months.........medicals usually expires in one years time so it totally depends how many days she has on medical expiry.

yes u r right medical expires in one year..if she got her visa before medical expires then she will fly as soon as medical expiry date...but unfortunatly if she will hv remedical then she hv lots of time to go...again one year. .

They received my application on July 30th 2013..

im too july 26 2013 applicants according to mp enquiry they said my file has been reveiwed and interviewed in queued,,but no any call or email from NDVO and my medical also expired on march 17,2013,,very frustated,,,any idea abt this why they are so slow?

Had done MP inquiry, was very helpful. MP found they are currently working on backlogs, they will start working on fresh sept, oct, nov and dec files in one or two weeks and will finish by end of July - mid August. That explains lots of DM from backlog files.

I think she is saying on the basis of previous experiences shared by applicants those medical was getting expired and they got the call to confirm whether they can fly before their medical gets expire if NDVO will send them visa within couple of days...

Like if your wife's DM will happen near to expiry date of medical then they will give you an option to fly before the expiry date if you will say yes then they will provide you visa in couple of days otherwise they will ask you for re-medical...

So its all about the time limit in between DM and medical expiry date...

They are taking long time to clear the backlog. I am also queued for interview and my medical also expired in march. I applied two month before you and still waiting for interview.
If you MP told you that interview is scheduled so that means you are going to hear within next 15 days regarding interview date & they usually give atleast 40-50 days time to get ready for interview.

not really .. I can say only 45% members got calls from NDVO saying if they can fly before medical expiry. This is not applicable for those who had some kind of red flag. Even if there is 1 red flag then they going to schedule interview. Interview means Normal timeline + 2 months

If NDVO doesn't issue my visa soon then I am going to meet Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and I will ask him to Give Dharna/Protest outside NDVO office untill they issue my visa. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sorry I was answering something else..
Medical expiry is 1 year, same for re-medical. NDVO can extend it by 3 weeks (Exception - they can also extend it by 3 months if there is delay from their side but not because of red flags etc).
