Just had interview in New Delhi today. It was for just 20 minutes. There was a lady who took my interview was so respectful,decent and professional.i can only say one thing u guys who are scheduled for the interview. Pls don't panic & be calm..Thanks a lot to Myrah n Desi girl for their kind help.

Medical Done: Sept. mid 2013
Application received by CIC Canada: Oct. 29th 2013
Sponsorship Application Approval from Canada: Nov. 14th 2013
PR Application Status: Dec. 10th 2013, Application n Medicals received (present status)
GCMS Notes status as on Jan. 2014: Medical Passed, any other checks have not begun yet
Passport sent after the PPR: Feb. 3rd 2014

why it took so long for you to send passport? did you miss seeing passport email request and found out from notes?

This due date may not be very accurate. Mine shows June 26 (SA approval date), but the real validity is until March 30 (original meds done April 1 of last year).

Look for validity date if any.

Yeah..youtube....due date doesnt seem accurate to me as well...validity is blank...since nothing was done on my file anyway!....will either apply n wait for another set of Notes or some news from the enigmatic NDVO

No, It took us just two weeks after receiving the request, due to some personal reasons.....

Hello All,

I would like to apply for my wife's PIO card however I never been to Canada. They want my landing documents to process her pio which is not possible. Is there any other way to get the PIO card for my wife?

You don't need your landing documents to get it. It is true that they are requesting it but if your wife is explaining your situation it will be fine without. I got it without any landing document of my husband. But make her apply from Canada... Don't apply from India.... It will be more complicated and longer... From Canada ot is very easy to get!

Hi all,

Just finished my interview... It was not so bad.... They asked us about my visits and our outing and some family questions...

They just wanted to make sure we are in continuous relation...

So we passed and finally Done

Now gotta do re-medical and wait for visa

If anyone has any question, feel free to inbox me but i will reply back after next week since i m in india rightnow....

so I was correct in assuming this could be a quality assurance interview..congrats...and you are second person today to let us know that you got a good visa officer who was respectful and professional...did they allow both sponsor and sponsored to be interviewed together?

Guys I'm sooooo happy that the interview went well ! So incredibly relieved After being on the site and hearing similar messages of encouragement and hope I really feel very thankful for everyone's contributions , the hardest advice was " hang in there , soon will be your turn " the lack of communication by NDHC makes it really difficult to hang in there . But it's really true at least in 99% of cases ( simple or not) I really want to thank PC082 , Myrah and Anishka for there support and help
I know the despair and sadness in this game it's heart breaking , not being together and really not knowing WHEN??? But do your time and get in line and don't ever give up Some applicants will have it easy and some will struggle but we will succeed at some point , have faith

After interview visa officer return my all documents + pics+pp I ask why u return my pp she told me this is our process.she told me she will send me the letter for re medical as my medical will expire tomorrow..

I am worried because my medical still valid till tomorrow..will they extend my medical or i have to do re medical??..

plz answer..

it is normal to return all the documents since it is easier to get it back to do visa stamping...it is unlikely they will ask you to leave by tomorrow and since they don't know how long it will take to change the status to decision made they have given everything back to you as a precaution...it is very likely they will extend your medicals than ask you to do medicals again...just relax...things will speed up...big headache (interview) is over...

it is normal to return all the documents since it is easier to get it back to do visa stamping...it is unlikely they will ask you to leave by tomorrow and since they don't know how long it will take to change the status to decision made they have given everything back to you as a precaution...it is very likely they will extend your medicals than ask you to do medicals again...just relax...things will speed up...big headache (interview) is over...
