My medical was expired in Dec 2013. My Lawyer said to do re-medical, but I didn't get any request. Can someone please answer if we can do re-medical without any request. Is it appropriate. Thx

Without a request or a passport, I think it is difficult to redo your medicals. I think you will have to wait for NDVO so email a letter for medicals, unless your lawyer already got it and is telling you to redo your medicals.

All i see in regards to medicals is:

Validity date: Blank
Status updated date: 2013/07/18
Due Date: 2014/07/10

But this due date doesnt make sense as there is no way they will extend medicals from march to july! Basically all updated dates are showing july 2013 and nothing was touched on my file when i ordered for it.

This does mean that they have extended your medical expiry date to July. Mine is extended from January of 2014 to May of 2014.

ndvo never sends any confirmations of your pp..........u need to check it thru the courier u sent it (tracking no) or apply for gcms notes to know when they received it .. they take their sweet time to reply so maybe in couple of weeks or maybe couple of months u will get a reply back ...hope this helps so don't worry its pretty normal we all gone thru this procedure

Hmm... so thins means that they can extend medicals by 4 months max. In a way, its a blessing that you don't have to re-do meds because that would cause more delays.

No unfortunately they don't. But you can find out if they got your passport is by tracking the mail or through GCMS notes.

I did apply for GCMS, everything is done except security and background, and it says medical have expired. I did contact MP and all they did is to check the status.

That sucks. Try to ask a doctor if you can redo medicals without a letter from NDVO and its expired. As desi girl said they might need your proof from NDVO like remedicals letter or passport. I hope they are okay or else you have to wait. I know this is so crazy. My medicals expired too and they didnt say anything yet. This so suck. I hope you hear an update from them. Wish you a speedy visa!

Soooo....nothing much from this i suppose! :/

Finally you got GCMS notes. They will start working on your file soon once they receive your ADR and might extend your medicals too. Then NDVO will give you a speedy visa. Did it say about interview waived or? I hope you get visa this month or early March. Wish you a speedy visa!

No, ndvo doesnt send any acknowledgement about receiving the passport, and they reply within 28-40 days time for email.

you can try ordering gcms notes and you will get an update whether they have your passport with your file or not

You right SN0206...we have to keep faith.n yes InshAllah we all goin to make it...sooner or later...you know what when i got call from ndvo to send my pp in august'13, the person who called up asked me if i can travel before november, it was when my medicals were expiring, i replied positive and was hoping to get visa in September and i resigned from my work...n look how it turns out to be......but i guess we move on and hope....i am glad to join this forum, atleast i can share my experience with you guys and be angry, sad and then again hopeful about it....thank you guys

Yeah. aww you would have left to Canada last year as they asked to leave before November and already changed their mind huh? Thats soo insane man. Im sorry about that. When did the person call you about leaving before November? I know im glad you are still so strong and patient. no problem. share whatever you want to say here.
