There will always be someone worse off in this world my friend, and I feel for all those people. Like for example, there will be someone with only one arm, then further there will be someone missing both arms, then there will be someone with both arms and one leg missing, then there will be someone with both arms and both legs missing, then there will be someone missing both arms both legs and no head (oh, that's called dead). Now, all these people (missing various body parts) feel bad, and are sad, and it's true that there are people who are suffering wayyyyyyyyy more than them (except maybe the dead guy, because he's dead), but one only looks at his/her immediate situation, it's true, that in the back of their mind they know that people do exist that are suffering more, but as human beings I think our own suffering takes a higher priority. That's just how humans behave. So, to sum it up here, I feel bad for myself because I see no movement in my file and this affects me directly, and I know you are worse off because you applied before me and still have no passport request (but this does not affect me directly, so I feel less bad/sad), I still feel for you bro. We are all just looking at our own individual situations here, and feeling bad/sad for ourselves, because something that affects us immediately/directly takes higher priority than something that affects others (especially if we don't know these "others" personally). Wowwwwwww my longest post ever :D

phew....I meant it as a joke...everyone suffers in their own way and no one is worse off than other person....as for me in a way it is a blessing that they haven't asked for passport yet in case if I need it right away and those morons hold my passport then it is a headache to deal with...it's ok it will take time for me but if they were transparent in their process then lots of anxiety would be resolved...good my post is short...

Guys need help regarding extra baggage.
My bags are already weighing about 27 kg each.
How much extra do they allow without any changes?
What is the other cheapest option to courier extra luggage?
I heard that sea mail is cheaper. . However don't know the procedure.

I know you were joking friend, I took it as a joke (as you can tell by my missing arms, legs, head example). Yeah, it's just the anxiety that kills, no transparency on their part, the whole process is so secretive.

There is a charge for every kg you are over (don't know how much though). You can take extra bags for $120 each, courier will definitely cost you more than $120. Sea mail, haven't heard of it. The best option is to take a third bag for $120, you get to take a 23kg bag, this is the cheapest and best option. The charge for extra bag varies for each airline, the $120 is for KLM.

Received my gcms today:

Applied: Dec 23, 2013
Generated: Jan 2, 2014
Received: Jan 22, 2014

As expected nothing has changed at all from the previous Notes cut on Dec 15. The recent change in my ecas about meds update just 3 days old so it did not come into GCMS notes.

Wondering when to apply for the next one?

Thanks,

This depends on person to person. Some attendants allow some overweight , some not. I took one 27 kg and one 25.5 kg with me when I came to Canada this time and they didn't even ask. Usually it doesn't matter to some attendants and you can request as well.So you can give a try but be prepared to to take out some luggage or pay extra if they ask to do so.

go here: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi and file a case specific inquiry. You can upload and attach a copy of your medicals here as well.

Thank you all for your good wishes for our interview! It works well... We have our case approved!!! It was a really tough interview for my husband... Almost 1 hours 30 min of questions and the visa officer was giving him a face like she was not trusting him... Saying that she thinks he married me just to come to Canada. He worked hard in his answer to convince her that it was not the case and at the end she called me in the office and told me the same and asked me what i am thinking about it. Then explain to her our feelings and our view of our relationship . She asked me if I was ready to live in India. I said anytime as I already have my PIO and showed it to her. So my part was only 5 min and then
she said she is convinced and our relationship is genuine.!!!

So again I repeat: who ever doubt that it really helps that sponsor is going to the interview with applicant... Trust me it makes the entire difference! Without my 5 min she would have still doubt and even rejected our case! But being together made our case stronger!

Thanks to that wonderful forum who made us being perfectly prepare to face our interview!!!

Finally interview is over. Congrats! :) Thank god!!!! What a long interview day man. Im really happy for you that you supported your hubby and you are so brave. It was good thing that you came with ur hubby to an interview. Did NDVO give you back all your proofs and passport to redo medical??? Thanks so much for sharing your interview story here. I wish you a speedy visa! All the best. :) :) :)
