Hello Sir/Madam,

Subject to Sponsor my Spouse for PR Canada.

I am Canadian Citizen. All the Application are completed on July 2013. Such as Medical, Police Clearance, all fees are paid and etc. All packages were Collected in Order and Was mailed to CIC Office. Mailed on August 2 2013, and Received on August 6, 2013.. I got a Email from CIC Office on Aug 22, 2013 they have all the paperwork and gave me a Appl. No. On Sept 19 2013 I got a email from New Delhi that they want my Spouse to mail his/her passport to New Delhi Visa Office. My Spouse in India Mailed the passport along with a document provided from New Delhi Office on Sept 20, 2013 and was delivered to CIC New Delhi Office, on Sept 23 2013. I went to India on 4 Oct 2013 to visit my Spouse. I was there till Dec 25 2013. Hoping he/she get the visa by then. I have extended one month ahead and I am now going back to Canada on Jan 30 2014. I have emailed Delhi immigration dec 2013 to find out the status but they won't tell me. The status is Appl. in received. I was hoping to take my spouse with me to Canada. Please Help me Out to know when she will get her visa or status to be updated.

Welcome to the forum, if you check spread sheet under Myrah7 signature, you will get an idea that NDVO currently & still issuing visas for Jan-May applicants and there is only one June applicant got In Process, you are a August 6th applicant, you should here from NDVO in Mid April, hopes this help you, wishing you the speedy visa, all the best.

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the following as soon as possible:
• Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.

• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.

• Submission of original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your accompanying family members. The picture in the passport for a child under 6 years of age must have been taken within the last 3 years. The picture in the passport for a child between the ages of 7 and 18 must have been taken within the last 5 years.



How long it takes and do I have to go for the interview now?

Welcome to the forum, basically NDVO is asking for the passport submission (current & all expired, if you have any),If you have not paid landing fee or have not submitted Police Clearance Certificates for the time spent in any country for more than 6 months, please submit the above document requested, if you have submitted PCC & paid landing fee, attach the photocopies and submit with your original passport ASAP.This is not an interview call.

Attach a cover letter too.

Please share your timeline to add you on spread sheet.

hi every one I am also july applicant and was following this forum its so exciting to see peoples who are in process and have got already visa lucky :-D

July 4th 2013- application sent
July 16th 2013- aplication received at cic
Aug. 15th 2013- spouse sponsership is approve and file transferd to dehli
Sep. 18th 2013- passport and pcc requested by new dehli office
Sep. 25th 2013- passport and pcc sent to new dehli office
Sep. 26th 2013- passport and pcc received by new dehli office
nov. 11th 20013- medical done
status update- medical recived by new dehli office.
