what does MP mean ??

MP is a member of parliament who represents you in the area where you live in Canada....
They can contact NDVO on for your application and get information on your file

Like status of your file whats pending and much more..
MP enquiry is free as they are government bodies and we as yourself or your partner is tax paying and part of ur tax looks after their wages

You are able to check and contact your MP in Canada on this web link by typing your postal code http://www.parl.gc.ca/Default.aspx?Language=E

As you will come across your MP further you will get info on their number and email adress.. It will be good if you can call them and book an appointment to see them. Also email them once you talk to them. They should be able to advice you further if he/she is sincere and any good

yeah,,,,ADR was PCC from UK. (police clearence certificate) i've been there last 3 years.
so thay want to know criminal history from UK police.
i sent it to NDVO on 17th DEC. 20013. almost one month ago...

Yes that's the reason no dm u sent it only mid dec... After they receive your ADR takes 1-3 months.... U shld be hearing something much before your medical expire good luck

I was in UK too as a student for 2 and half years, submitted PCC from UK & India along with medicals and all other documents like Engagement photos, Marriage & reception photos, Skype & call logs details, Wedding invitation cards from both sides etc, does travel history delay application ? I was like after every semester I made a trip to India !!

I was in the UK for 8+ years.. Submitted my PCC which expired in dec. and Indian PCC which also expired in Jan..

Hello experience members

I am into process since 7th Dec. I spent 1.5 year in England for my Psychology studies. I neither extended my visa nor over-stayed it. Apart from this, I never travelled outside India. I have provided my PCC from both India and England. Could it be the reason for more processing time? I am worried too ??? ???

Hello Sir/Madam,

Subject to Sponsor my Spouse for PR Canada.

I am Canadian Citizen. All the Application are completed on July 2013. Such as Medical, Police Clearance, all fees are paid and etc. All packages were Collected in Order and Was mailed to CIC Office. Mailed on August 2 2013, and Received on August 6, 2013.. I got a Email from CIC Office on Aug 22, 2013 they have all the paperwork and gave me a Appl. No. On Sept 19 2013 I got a email from New Delhi that they want my Spouse to mail his/her passport to New Delhi Visa Office. My Spouse in India Mailed the passport along with a document provided from New Delhi Office on Sept 20, 2013 and was delivered to CIC New Delhi Office, on Sept 23 2013. I went to India on 4 Oct 2013 to visit my Spouse. I was there till Dec 25 2013. Hoping he/she get the visa by then. I have extended one month ahead and I am now going back to Canada on Jan 30 2014. I have emailed Delhi immigration dec 2013 to find out the status but they won't tell me. The status is Appl. in received. I was hoping to take my spouse with me to Canada. Please Help me Out to know when he/she will get his/her visa or status to be updated.
