True, some of them have also personally answered my questions.. & they were stuck for long in secondary review & things started only after urgent application.. But this was last year.. This year the trend that is seen is people who applied for urgent application in March are also still waiting...

MP told us that as per our request he has sent mail to NDVO to process all dependant children's applications faster on humanitarian grounds. He hasn't heard back from NDVO & expects revert mail from them in a month's time & will inform us accordingly.

First my hubby emailed the MP..then after few days when he enquired about it, the secretary called him to office..then he met MP & told status of child sponsorship in India..that v r sometimes waiting longer than even spousal sponsorships... ur data helped..now he has asked time till next week...

Earlier the max limit for wire transfer was $1,00,000 per financial year. Now the limit has been reduced to max of $80,000 per financial year.

U shud declare even if its small amount.. It's not a question of how they will figure out.. But if they do..there is a heavy penalty.. Declaration shud be made on immigration form which is handed over by flight crew to all passengers inflight !!

Thanks for the info!! Applied for GCMS notes already..actually I came here when I was pregnant so I am away from hubby for last 1.5 yrs & baby is away since last 8 months. Post application the wait is 7months now.. Don't know when will our family unite back!! Hope & pray soon!!
