Myrah I have collected my fourth confirmation receipt of my email regarding 'passport request' from NDVO..how many have you so far? I am excited like kids collecting 'angry birds' cards...

it is too early for in-laws to start harassing..like manufacturing and expiry dates seen in packaged goods, in-laws should have a harassment start date and end date....do they expect to get visas in three months? even booking a train or flight ticket to tourist spots take 6 months of planning but settling overseas, in their minds, supposed to happen in three days...just ignore them..show them NDVO address, give them brass vessels with sticks, and ask them to go to visa office and make noises there instead...hang in there this is going to be a long (hopefully not a bumpy) ride...next step is passport request start MP pressure, order notes etc if you have not received passport request already

hehehehehe....i think i should ask my inlaws to do that ...we submitted the passport in sept. sorry i din updated it...but yeah i hve req. notes should be here by around 18 jan...once the july processing will start i will ask my MP...

that's what I thought too..correct me if I am wrong..in the past, didn't NDVO called people to verify who they were and asked some personal questions like DOB, address etc so that they can confirm if the passport holder lives there or not...I think this is the call that meghna was waiting for..too bad caller could have been less governmentie, less secretive about the call...congrats to you. meghna... this qualifies for half of 'omg' moment...

Lol..she wanted to just disconnect the call after questions..and i shouted when can i expect my pp thanks w2e ...1/2 omg !

hahah don't worry its to confirm the address to send the pp back with visa since u in ip already......these guys are pretty rude ....who cares we want our visa's and we are done with NDVO

how much i have to pay if i go for lawyer?

it depends on lawyer...in toronto some people even ask 6000$-8000$ but still you have to do all the work they just gonna send your file....its better if you file it own your own it very easy and simple...just make sure you go through the check list and still if yo have any problem you can ask on the forum or our best friend google is always there to help you

First of all i haven't yet read the posts i have missed while sleeping.. So i am gonna reply later to those by you guys..secondly got a call from ndvo...right now nothing to get excited about !!
She just asked my dob n my address where i would like the post n said thankyou without informing me anything.
I quickly asked her when can I expect my pp she said i cant comment on that...then i asked has decision been made... She said no it is still in ip..!

damm why the hell were they calling up and asking jsut to raise the hopes and dash it back again....they acting like the insurance policy phones which everyone in India are fed up about...but at least you have something to sit on and watch....

Seriously last night i slept peacefully with keeping hopes low and believing when something has to happen it will happen when its destined to..and morning i woke up and this is what happened..!
