Don't know where you are getting this -50 information from, it was never this low, the most it was -25, and that's with windchill. If it was that low I would have known since I live here hahahahahahahaha, maybe you are mistaking this for Saskatchewan, I believe Winnipeg was around the -40 mark a few days back :o

Hahaha :P lol... yeah maybe I confused it. I am not that great in Geography/Environmental sciences...lol. But I thought they said Calgary on the news.. Anyways, I am sure you would know better since you live there. Its still cold anyways compared to India.

*UPDATE*
My wife got her passport back today with a 'shiny' visa!
The passport was returned this afternoon IST via registered post.
There was no phonecall from the visa office to verify her address.
Quick turnaround after getting DM on Jan 6th.

Congrats!! All the best in your future together.

Hey guys,

I am back with answers to the questions on how my wife interview went. what kind of questions were asked? how long the interview was? Who took the interview?

Basically she was asked lots of questions regarding our marriage ceremony.

Who attend the marriage? Who arrange the marriage? Where are the family members of bride/groom? Show picture? Did you guys have honeymoon? Why and Why not? Who perform the ceremony? How many people in the ceremony? What is the name of the company your spouse work? What is his job position? Did you guys have sex? Why you don't have children? Did you plan to have children or not? Why is there so much age gap? Did you gave money to your husband to come to Canada? Did you receive any money from the spouse? How much? Why? Do you know the family of your husband? Name all the family members? Where they live now? How old are they? Are they married? Do they have children? How long your husband stayed with you? Why was the wedding so short?

My god these are the questions the officer asked her. Also, the officer was from Punjab and a lady. She asked what language she want to have her interview. Most important of all is that THE WAY THEY ASK YOU THE QUESTION IS like a rapid round. 1 after the another and you have little time to tell them. Make sure to take all the prove and pictures of your marriage and after marriage if you did a trip would be helpful. They also ask for the time duration you spend with your spouse.

Let me know if they are any other questions.

thx u magesss this will definitely help forum members who are lined up for interviews in jan/feb ....good luck and let us know with the progress of your file ....:) speedy visa :)

Thank you for sharing. It will be very helpful. you and your wife must be relieved that the interview is done. Did they give any clues on what they are going to do next? I pray that your wife gets the passport with visa soon.

Hi W2E,

But my application is for my daughter 3 yrs old . As parent i dont know what she will study?. How can kid know all these?

ram

The answer is simple. She will study what the teachers will teach her... mainly nursery rhymes, sounds that animals make, etc. since she is 3 years old and ready for kindergarten... then progress to math, english, arts, play time, then more complicated... math, sciences, english, french, music, drama, sports, and it can go on and on. And it is stupid that they would ask that.

:o Yup, definitely the Polar Vortex of Doom. Stay warm.
Are you getting frost quakes in Winnipeg too? Apparently they are all over Ontario and scaring the bejesus out of the residents. And this is the first time I heard of something like this...I guess we all learn new things each day.

-62 wind chill :-X Was that in Winnipeg too?

It is too bad that you and your wife are feeling let down by the NDVO. I really really hope that you get some good news as soon as July applications will start to be processed. These things take time and NDVO was on strike so that wasn't helping. Your in-laws should understand. It is not like you are abandoning your wife like some people do in marriage scams. Stay warm and stay positive :) Things will look up soon for you
