hi, in case of spouse sponsorship, After how long does NDVO requests for passport. Do we have to send it right away or can we wait? because i understand they keep hold of passport for quite sometime.
Does sending passport after 3-4 months makes any difference on the application?

I dont think so as I have one friend who did the same...but as time passes things change...it used to be 3 months earlier to get the spousal sponsorship....

but its best to consult a lawyer....

sorry i coulnt understand your reply. My question is about the passport of my spouse. After how long of receiving a file, do they ask for passport in general?

in my case it has been, passport request? what passport request? not worried ....eventually they will have to ask for it....

I have been silently following the forum since long!! Many of you might know my story especially Myrah

Anyway, Congratulations to all those who have got their DM's and PP's with Visa. Its a golden moment for you guys. You all have experienced how it feels to be in IP or Application Received. I am also one of the sufferer. Struck with NDVO since March 2013 :'(
Let us all hope for the best and pray for each one of us, so that we all can unite with our families and loved ones and start our new lives as soon as possible.

So, those who are waiting, DO NOT LOOSE HOPE...YOU MIGHT BE JUST THE ANOTHER ONE TO UPDATE "OMG" Wait for your turn, you are almost there and the PP will be in your hands in no time. HUrrrrrrray!!

you might be better off checking skilled labor category thread...Nurses are in high demand in Canada and Quebec provincial nomination may not take that long but anything out of India takes forever...my cousin and her family applied under skilled doctor category and they have been waiting for the past four years (honestly I think the agency took their 3 lacs and opened a Swiss bank account since he wants some more lacs because rules have changed)
